1903 Club Shirt

Has anyone seen the template for this yet or are we waiting for later this week for the launch? It sounds nice from the description here to be fair and thanks @Offcomedun for getting us this info!

 

I sent them another email. Can anyone who is also abroad, confirm that they have received their "tube"?

I'm just wondering, regarding the shirt - if there's anyone on here kind enough to take delivery of mine, then I send you some money via PayPal and you could post it over here for me? That way I can convince the tax people that it's a "gift" and don't have to pay ridiculous import tax on it.

 

Got an email back - tubes are being sent out this week. Should get mine in a fortnight. If not, chase up. Dunno if I'm being picky, but signing up for something (and paying for it!) in May, I would have thought it would have been sent out by the beginning of the season. Hopefully my shirt arrives in time for the last game!

At least the hand wash will come in handy for the third wave.

 

Ask the customer to "chase up" is hardly the way to run a business.

I’d say it is fairly common for when stuff is getting delivered overseas as tracking is hit and miss

 

Because it's fairly common does not make it right, I'd suggest there is a difference between dealing with the general public rather than several hundred die hard Bradford City fans who have gone that extra mile in support of their club.

 

So how would you suggest they do it? Ring everyone every day from day they send it? Or just ask the recipients to call if they don't get it

 

The 1903 product was bought from Bradford City, it is up to the club to sort it out what they paid for not the buyer.

 

yes and they will be sending it. They have arranged dispatch. Not sure what you are expecting from them after that? When they posted out season tickets they didn’t then call everyone, they presumed the purchaser would get in touch if it hadn’t been delivered.
Not sure if you ever buy anything online but the seller doesnt usually get in touch to check delivery again they would expect it is delivered unless you contact them

 

Completely different to the current situation, fans bought a package from Bradford City Football Club not something from a third party in China that's the point.

 

in my example Bradford City are the seller just like buying anything online. A straight comparison of someone buying a product from someone else and it getting delivered.

I still don’t know what you are expecting City to do extra to what they have already done ? What are you saying they should do?

 

Contact the third party who's product they are selling within the 1903 package, ask when they will be delivered to the customer or if they are going direct to the club they need a date, third party give the club a date, the club then email all the fans who have purchased the 1903 package to tell them the product they paid for will be delivered by the club producer or if they prefer to pick them up they are available for picking up at Valley Parade.

 

They are bot being sent out by a third party. They are being dispatched directly from the club.

As far as I am aware it is those overseas that are waiting so I would hazard a guess there is a paperwork hold but the club have told him they are getting dispatched this week. So the club have already done everything you have suggested.

 

I've given you the alternative if not being delivered by the supplier and the club are delivering them, once the club have taken delivery they email the 1903 members and say they are in the post.

 

looking back through various posts only person that has commented they haven’t received theirs is @TallinnBantam . The club have spoken to him and told him they are going this week and to get in touch if it doesn’t arrive. So again what are you asking for them to do extra,?

 

The club are doing exactly what I've suggested it should have done, point proven.

What’s happened to this shirt? All gone quiet after I paid my £10 deposit.

AND I still haven’t received my hand sanitizer and scarf!
