Same with me. Work 2 out of 6 Saturdays until 1pm. Would have to hope my Saturdays coincide with away games

The longer city stay in the playoff more people will come and pay on the day. That help pay the bills.

If not I'm sure the CEO will be more than happy to take a pay cut..

Better still buy the ground back and save even more money in not paying rent.

 

The latest accounts show the cost of the ground rent at £434k per year.
I'm not sure how much the ground would cost to buy back but even for £5m that money would need to be found and just offsets the next 12 years rent payments.
It's not suddenly free if we buy the ground back.

It's a good job we are still at valley parade this season and not a new stadium at odsal. Just think of the poor buggers from Bradford north who would have to get two buses to odsal before 1pm

 

Perhaps the government could be persuaded to keep British Summer Time all year round.They are desperately short of good ideas at the moment,so they might listen.

Yep, reads that way to me too although these T&Cs is a lot of 'section X is only relevant if sectiony.1.2 has been carried out' types of phrasing.

4. Changes to Dates, Refunds & Exchanges
4.1 No guarantees will be given by the Club that a Match will take place at a time or on a date. The Club reserves the right to reschedule any Match without notice and without any liability whatsoever. Your Season Ticket will enable you to attend the rearranged Match.

Looks like refunds are only available if the club cant offer alternative viewing for games out of public viewing.

 

Very unfair we are already doing great on that front business up and down the country are falling because of the cost of energy and football is not exempt

 

Im not fussed either way. Id quite like the fact we wouldn’t have to wait as long until KO but thinking about others who travel to games from outside the city, take their kids to junior football on a Saturday snd those who work mornings, can’t see this getting off the ground.

How much are we talking for the floodlights and stadium lighting on matchdays as the other energy costs will have to be covered irrespective of whether KO is 1 or 3 pm.

The real problem is the energy prices and Liz Truss refusing to introduce a windfall tax on the fat cat energy companies, letting down business and us peasants.

 

If you go from home to the football then straight back afterwards you will still be using the same amount as you will still be doing your normal routine so you’re statement is a load of bolloxs

 

they should also vote to Fook this pointless trophy off if it’s costing the club money ..........

 

It makes little difference to me mate, but I can see where others are coming from, if we go with the Dolly boys we'll be setting off at 8am for a 1pm kick off at bloody Rochdale, ale carts you know who you are .
