I wonder if the decision will hinge on what the survey says? I'm kinda in the same boat as you Dave where I sometimes work Saturday mornings.

On a personal note I wouldn't complain, but do feel for people who work Saturday mornings and who would be affected by it. Potentially a significant impact on attendances, and we've been here before during the power cuts of the 1970's

The wording on the questionnaire kind of tells me that they are planning on doing it if both teams agree. Sure, if there was a majority against it they might not bother but I can imagine this decision is probably already made, or near enough.

A bit like a Russian referendum if they’ve decided to do it anyway

I think @Jordan@Jordan is probably right. It's not good at all to me as it double the trouble. I book as many Saturdays off as possible to get away and support the team.

I've run out of holidays for the year, so would miss (part) Saturday home games or have to forfeit away games, meaning I fall further behind on loyalty points and thus potentially could be handicapped if, big away games were to follow.

Not ideal. Tbh, my initial thoughts are that I would continue to go away and spend my money outside of the club.

I've voted No. I'm not opposed to 1pm kick offs here and there but under the pretence that it's purely for saving on the floodlights seems more to be some kind of political angle to try force some hands somewhere for financial support.

Mansfield made a big song and dance over moving the game against Walsall to 1pm, whilst completely ignoring the fact they had moved a game from Saturday to Friday night.

No thanks, season tickets were sold for 3 a clock kick off, in winter the flood lights will be on any way at that time.

There's a few factors to consider. Home games will have less fans and vice versa. Also the impact on local business trade although I guess that isn't primarily the clubs concern. I can see why they are planning on its possible implementation but it's probably one less reason for me to go at a time when I've already got reasons.
Not an easy choice for the club to make

I'm happy to go with 1pm kick offs, as it has little impact on me personally, but I think its really important that those who would be impacted, by such a change, make sure they complete this survey, so the Club are aware of the sort of numbers involved.

This is the thing, I expect floodlights to be on at most ground during the winter months regardless of kick of times due to dull overcast sky etc, regardless of what time of day. 1pm in December isn't like your 1pm for the rest of the year. It's usually miserable and still requiring floodlights. I think we are only schedule 3 home games from the end of October till the Start of January. Wouldn't it be as cost effective to remove the pizza trophy.

To note, this would effect 7 x 3pm Saturday kick offs plus NYD

I am not fussed either way, but understand why it becomes difficult for some with work commitments.
How about every adult chipping in a quid as you enter the stadium. surely £10000 will pay the electric bill.

Same with me. Work 2 out of 6 Saturdays until 1pm. Would have to hope my Saturdays coincide with away games

It's a fair question but I'd have to wonder (if the total amount is around 10 grand) why on earth there is even an issue?

Maybe Ryan could start a 'Light the Parade' campaign, with extra Loyalty Points. ;)

I have no idea what the floodlights and other appliances at VP cost to run on a matchday. I just plucked that figure out of the ether. could be vastly more , maybe the club could give us some ball park costs to help us make our minds up.

When Adams was in charge would have been happy with no lights at all. Oh and 7pm kick offs

It would still have been light enough to see at the start and end of the season. let's say kick off at 9.30 or 10 pm.
