You’ve clearly got issues with Chicksen if that is your honest summary. Every City player constantly gave the ball away, yet you name Chicksen. Was he the worst culprit? No, I don’t even think he was...!

We are the league 1whipping boys and everyone can see that with the present set up will remain so
Lots on here saw this coming as soon as SM was forced out and I for one am really not surprised the only question now is how long this utter rubbish will be allowed to go on Don't forget there is a man who has sunk 5million into this dross. As for MC demanding respect from the players What a joke most of these players are more tactically aware than him How do you expect them to take notice/ respect of a complete novice who failed at our under 18 team

My first game today and I can’t believe what I saw. Where’s the urgency, passion and game plan?

Akpan did a good job of avoiding contact with the ball, wide open spaces in front of Chicksen, a coach who never raised his voice in anger or gave direction.

That was as bad a game as I’ve watched since we nearly went out of the league. Relegation is a certainty not a probability unless he gets rid of the 3 stooges.

Watched Abbot hide in the dugout at the end of the match, Collins wander into the middle of the pitch to avoid the dogs abuse he would’ve got had he walked down the touch line.

The owners have to scrap this ridiculous coaching set up, get rid and bring someone in who has a clue what they’re doing. You can’t stand there with your mouth shut and arms behind your back and hope the players can read your mind.

He will fu&k off back to Germany and hide.

If Edin was any kind of owner he would be sacking Collins now and admitting his mistake.

    Absolutely, categorically clueless.

Collins, what the HELL were you thinking dropping Miller for a midfielder? Did you REALLY expect a winger to perform a Michael Owen role getting behind the back line? REALLY?!

What on EARTH was our tactic today?

Wycombe were a League Two-quality side with a League Two-style mentality: get the ball to Morris, Morris employs a shoot-on-sight policy, if that gets deflected, it goes for a corner - which is great because Jacobson is quality at corners.

Simple, easy to scout, relatively easy to defend (stick a defensive midfielder on Morris).

Anyone could spot that was their tactic, and they could then play around that - but it was there, always, a threat.

    And our threat?

    Zero.

    None.

No plan, no concepts, no ideas.

One up front again with Doyle? Utter disgrace.

Doyle looks completely inept - AND HE'S NOT - it's just Collins is trying to be clever - and he admitted as much on Radio L**ds. He thought they'd worked out pace would hurt Wycombe - so he went back to sheer ineffectual formations with only one true striker and players (again) out of position.

    Keep it simple, Collins.

    4-4-2.

    Two strikers.

    No messing.

And for what it's worth, Miller is our best forward by a country mile.

We need someone in that can organise a team and give them some direction. Then they need a team talk that says “Work your bollox off or I’ll have them in a smoothie”. Someone like Mick McCarthy would be ideal.

Spot on! He might earn some respect if he admitted he’s made one almighty feck up that every man and his dog predicted.

As frustrated as we all are, and I do mean all because even the happiest of happy clappers can't be happy with that performance, and listening to Collins post match interview the man doesn't have a clue of his best team or fromation.
We won on Tuesday so why change things, he said he played Seedorf for his pace yet that was a gamble he did not have to take, many said we hoped he'd play a recognised formation for the Burton and to be fair he did revert to 4-4-2 and we won, whf did he try and tinker to make himself look like a technical genius.
If Collins is here next Saturday go 4-4-2 drop either Akpan or Wright (both were poor today) and play the kid Colville, play the kid Miller along side Doyle, Doyles best when he has a big lad by his side today he was coming so deep to get involved it was laughable, maybe Mellor for Riley, and Gibson for Scannell if he's not 100% and if it's successful stick with it.

Midfield went missing for most of the game, for a big lad Akpan bottles a lot of challenges. Wright couldn’t captain a pub team, O’Donnell was doing more organising than him. Riley shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team and can’t turn with the ball, I lost count of how many times Scannell was in acres of space and shouting for the ball and Riley just passed it backwards every time. Hardly any service to Doyle, he can’t win headers so it was absolutely pointless hoofing the ball up to him every time. Completely clueless and I’m not surprised a lot of fans have started to protest already, they just didn’t turn up today. Collins talks a load of rubbish - fatigued? Already?
Colville and Gibson probably deserve a decent run, they’re both raw but at least they looked interested and battled for the ball.

He forgot the first tactic in football win the game first, then you bring on the fast young winger to reinforce your dominance.

Not only was he playing too deep Bronco, he was also out wide a lot of the game. Completely and utterly baffling.

Kilgallon would probably have stopped both goals from happening today, How O'Connor gets in the team in front of him is a joke,

Is it just me or does it seem like Abbott doesn't want to help Collins.

Abbott just sits there but to the fair Collins just stands there looking at his trainers.

Our coaching team is a joke but Collins is the clown heading it up.

To go from the cusp of promotion to what I witnessed today, falls squarely at the feet of the owners. There’ll be 500 to a 1000 less supporters at the next home game and they’ll only have themselves to blame.

Like Gary Jones said, putting the effort in should be a given. No effort at all today.

Why? What on earth made you think that? As many of us have said since Tuesday night, the win over Burton simply papered over the cracks. We weren’t good enough and rode our luck. Today, we got what we deserved.... absolutely nothing.

But fear not, Collins and the players will be out next week telling us they weren’t good enough and will do better next Saturday...!
