David Sharpe appointed Head Of Football Operations

This proves Rupp has no idea. We need someone to come in and do the football side cos Sparks has no idea. So we bring someone in who can do both jobs and still keep Sparks, that's just a waste of a wage

 

He will be an advisor at best. He won't be here full-time as he has commitments to his family businesses

Agree he's not an inexperienced kid but how far will he be allowed to go under RS and how far will SR go to fund it

He has no solid long-term experience in any one position. We already have a CEO, and we don't need two of them. It would be a waste of time to put him in charge of footballing matters with such a lack of real experience in that department

 

When he was ceo at Mansfield he looked after the football side without a dof, so the time he ceo he was doing that side too

It’s a positive move IMO. Good news. Sparks is getting help.

 

This story broke this afternoon and it appears to have some credibility.
Doesn't matter who's mentioned to be honest like with anything some would support a move for him others would dismiss without a second glance at his CV.

 

The only help that t1t needs is packing up his Transformer lunchbox and showing where the door is.

I like to see Sharpe take Sparks job and Jewell head of recruitment,probably know each other from Wigan.

 

This has to be seen as a positive, in whatever role he may come in as, at least it's a footballing brain. But equally let's hope it's the start of sweeping changes. Will be interesting to see what he makes of GA as he does seem to make some strange decisions. Unless GA has been given a remit to P off as many of the current squad as possible to encourage departures in the summer? So much within our beloved club needs a makeover - and quickly
