I see Suella was moaning yesterday about the amount of visa and asylum claims granted last year.

I wonder if she knows who was the home secretary during that time.....

Haha the state of politics in this country Tone. Better start counting those postal votes cos there'll be a lot of them, probably more than actual constituents lol. You know things are scraping the barrel when Galloway gets vote in.

Are you rewriting history? She was Home Secretary from October 2022 to November 2023. Literally the whole of last year which show the highest figures since records began.

I find Galloway an opportunist, divisive and to be honest, I’m not even sure he actually believes everything he says he stands for. I was working in Batley when he was standing in the Batley and Spen by-election, his campaign office was an and old shut bar/nightclub round the corner from where I worked. He obviously lost, but he left the place a shit tip, just upped and left when campaigning was over. I think that’s similar to his politics, doesn’t really give a shit about the local area, takes a big dump and leaves…He’s a fantastic speaker and campaigner, but an absolute w****r.

Worrying times mate, I did enjoy the fact that David Tully came second with neither Labour or Tories in the frame, Starmer saying they didn't have a Labour candidate standing so it wasn't really a defeat for the party that had previously won Rochdale.

I believe we will see that across the country at the next General Election people feel let down by both political parties, there's so much wrong with modern politics.

I think it’s time for the British government to join with other countries to put pressure on Israel to end the killing. The invasion was justified because of the atrocities that occurred but 30.000 deaths is beyond belief and it's time to talk.

Its easy for other countries to tell Israel what to do with regards a cease fire, until you've lived in Israelis shoes we don't know what the situation is on a daily basis in and around Israel, when Hamas invaded Israel and did what they did that terrible day they knew Palestinians who are governed by Hamas were going to be on the receiving end of hell.
Don't you wonder why Egypt and many more Islamic countries don't allow them into a fellow Islamic country.

I am more interested in stopping an increase in the more than 30.000 fellow human beings getting slaughtered. Other countries can do that by stopping backing them

I agree. Galloway cares not one jot about the people of Rochdale.

He is a vile mouthpiece for Palestine. As far back as 1977 he pledged to devote his life to the Palestine and Arab cause.

He personally praised Saddam Hussain for his courage in the Gulf War describing Kuwait as part of Iraq.

Since then he has backed Iran and Russia.

I doubt his so called political party will make strides anywhere else in the UK though and come the General Election, Labour will triumph once more in Rochdale in my opinion.

Yes it would be great if Hamas handed the hostages back and surrendered, otherwise unfortunately it's the status quo, Benjamin Netanyahu said when this war started the IDF would seek out and destroy Hamas once and for all and that means hand to hand fighting in Southern Gaz.
Why would other countries stop backing them, if they forced Israel to stop fighting and not destroying Hamas allowing them to recruit again it would only be a matter of time before they did a similar terrible act of terrorism again, I noticed you don't have a comment with regards why other Islamic country don't want to take refugees from Palestine, the article I posted tells us why they come with baggage the likes of Egypt don't need.
War always involves innocent victims, and their deaths, unfortunately that is what happens, examples being WW2 the nuking of Hyrishama and Nagasaki, not forgetting the flattening of Dresden where many innocent Germany civilians died.

I don't think it's that easy to dismiss Galloway, many though the same yet he took Bradford West and became a MP again with the support of the Muslim voters, there are many Cities in the UK that have very large Muslim communities with postal votes they can he quite easily manipulated IMO.

Palestine's very own Hamas have brought this upon their own people with the vile atrocities committed on 7th October.

Its shocking that innocent kiddies are being killed, however, we still have to back Israel to root out Iran's evil proxy Hamas.

Who'd have thought in our lifetime we could see politics becoming a sectarian vote rather than a left or right vote with regards policies.
