I don’t think we are the team with the lowest chance despite being 16th.
Had we played and won either of our postponed games we’d be sitting 9th on level games as Gills / Walsall with both still to play.
Only Crawley and Morecambe as it stands can stop the play offs being in our own hands.

 

Wrexham would bring 40k, 10k genuine Welsh fans and 30k plastic yanks.

 

Crawly play Morecambe next week too and they both can't take 3 points from the game..

Phil Parkinson was terrific for us and personally I will always be grateful for his and Steve Parkin's time here but having said that, and this might cause some controversy, I think GA is a better tactician and more flexible in his approach, bearing in mind he is working with someone else's squad.

 

Maybe a better tactician but when it mattered PP delivered as for this squad its knowhere near as bad as the shite PP had to start with.

 

Looks let’s be honest here; if we manage to win enough games to get into the playoffs we will arrive on a momentum wave and it doesn’t matter who we face. It is still a long shot but we have the points to play for so let’s go and get them. I will tell you this nobody will want to play us!

Fair enough but in the play offs they'll all be decent teams and if you don't get them in the semis you may well get them at Wembley and that's an even bigger game for the "big game manager".

He couldn't pick Pickford for Reading away as he had already been recalled by Sunderland. He had turned 21 which ended his youth loan, any extension would have meant Sunderland couldn't recall him and they didn't want that situation.
I am not sure who else he could have brought in to replace Andrew Davies who was injured.
We missed our chance of a semi final at Valley Parade.

 

I like your optimism. I said last year when we were still in a position to make the autos that I felt that would be the only way we'd get promoted because I didn't think the players had the mental strength for the playoffs. I think GA has done a lot of work with the players around mental strength since he came in so if we do manage to creep into the playoffs, I would have more confidence of success than I had last year.

 

i still think most of you guys are being far too optimistic..

if we win the next 4 i'll start believing but any draws or losses for us in the next 4 and im afraid its season over
