He couldn't pick Pickford for Reading away as he had already been recalled by Sunderland. He had turned 21 which ended his youth loan, any extension would have meant Sunderland couldn't recall him and they didn't want that situation.
I am not sure who else he could have brought in to replace Andrew Davies who was injured.
We missed our chance of a semi final at Valley Parade.

 

A classic example of why the play off system keeps divisions “interesting” right up to the end of the season.

 

I seriously aint arsed what other teams do .........all results could go our way and it doesnt mean nothing if we dont do this bizz ourselves.

5 games coming up 4 at home if we muster a good 10 points out of that then im sure the gap will be closed again

 

Phil Parkinson was terrific for us and personally I will always be grateful for his and Steve Parkin's time here but having said that, and this might cause some controversy, I think GA is a better tactician and more flexible in his approach, bearing in mind he is working with someone else's squad.

 

Looks let’s be honest here; if we manage to win enough games to get into the playoffs we will arrive on a momentum wave and it doesn’t matter who we face. It is still a long shot but we have the points to play for so let’s go and get them. I will tell you this nobody will want to play us!

 

The Notts drop off was always going to come after Williams left and the new style needed to bed in. Also, apparently Langstaff kicked up a fuss when he had a 7 figure bid turned down towards the end of the window, wonder if his heads been turned?

We need Barrow and MK to start dropping some points. Sky last week during the game were saying "Bradford are only a few points off the play offs" which paints the picture that we have some slots to fight for...... when in reality, it's really just 7th as it stands that us and a boat load more teams are looking at. If we can be within say 5 or 6 points of 2 or 3 play off spots in a few weeks time, it becomes far more of a realistic ambition of a top 7 finish.

 

Might track a few of these and watch the FA Cup whilst the wife watches some utter nonsense on TV tonight.

Fingers crossed County get 3 or 4 red cards tonight and make Saturday that bit easier on us! Smallwood is still suspended and now it seems Ridehalgh could be injured, he was pictured at the BRI today according to FB, in his training gear with a wrist injury. If Richards isn't fit, as well as Kelly, there's a few holes in the squad for Saturday.

Kelly travelled to Barrow so you'd imagine he was going to be in the 18 so he should be fine for Saturday.

Down to 16th as it stands 5 points off the play offs with Gillingham in 7th. From Gillingham down to us we would have a game in hand on 7 of the 9 clubs.

Why bring them up when they are miles in front and fighting for automatic places when we are midtable but hoping for a play off spot!

Bradford City one of the biggest failures in league football but yeah let’s look at others having a bad time to make ourselves feel better.
