Quiet first couple of games with not much to do but he looks to have found good form in the last couple.

 

No idea if it’s the same game but I recall being asked by my dad if we wanted to go to the Coventry away game when I was probably about 8.
We would miss the last train and it was on sky sports so we decided against it.
We lost 4-0 so a good decision in hindsight!

 

Changes seem to have made us drop off a bit. Need to get back on the ball

I swear every throwing they got, should have been our throw and vice versa this second half. Not even sure how we got a goal kick here and their keeper getting booked for being correct is bizarre

To be fair, not a trek I’d fancy when they’re rock bottom of the league.

Well it all helps with the goal of reaching the play offs but very hard to get excited about that, given Sutton are rock bottom. I would have expected a more positive approach.

 

Oduor played very well probably his best game. Good teams win games when playing poor and another clean sheet is a bonus!

Halliday, Gilliead, back three all did well. Ridehalgh just offers nothing at all and Cook had a poor game too.

Overall, a difficult game but we came out with 3 points so, a great week for us!

 

It wasn’t a match that lifted us off our seats, but grinding it out on a team that are rock bottom. There are 6 teams between us and the playoffs. Odour played well plus Kav. We need a much better midfield for next week.

 

Like you say, a grind, not convincing or great to watch, but job done.

Walker and Kavanagh look superb business so far. A few on here wrote both off before a ball was kicked.
