We're at home to a lowly club. Switch it to 3-5-2, play Gilliead deep and put Pointon and Oduor in the midfield and attack them.

They aren't going to chuck a load of players forward. Three defenders will be more than enough.

I don't think the club expected Walker to be still out early indications from the medical team suggested he was making good progress but they didn't have the updated prognosis confirmed by a later down the line scan.
It happens and what makes the midfield situation worse is the fact Patto is AWOL as well.

 

What makes it more bizarre is that only a couple of days ago, GA said in his interview that he understands he needs to adapt the tactics to when playing at home (or that's how I interpreted his words) and then decides to play 4 centrebacks and 2 full backs against the team bottom of the league at home! If we don't win, it could turn nasty at full-time

Thanks @13eta - because of that tweak, it’s 3-1 to City with Angol, Patrick and Pointon scoring. I know it’s a highly unlikely but There is a slim chance of Pointon getting on for a minute or two.
