It's the speed of the game nowadays that causes the injuries. Majority are soft tissue problems rather than impact injuries

 

Wasn’t it described as a hairline fracture that hadn’t been initially spotted and a second round of x rays after finding the injury wasn’t getting better quick enough, saw it?

 

I was told yesterday, his house has gone up for sale, could be he is just moving within the area or he knows that a new contract is not going to be offered and is getting a head start on any future move elsewhere.
personally i like the guy, he is whole hearted and a decent enough footballer, but can we afford to keep him and Pattinson, who between them can not manage a full season

 

It's his house in Scotland that has gone up for sale. That suggests he sees his future in England, either with us or another club.

If Walker's house in Scotland has gone up for sale it will join his house in Shipley. Someone, trying to remember who, posted way before Christmas that they were a neighbour of Walker and the house was up for sale, with kiddies footballs left as a giveaway by the front door and Walker was moving into a rented flat. I think the Shipley house now has a buyer.

 

I think his days with us will be numbered, especially if he is not back soon and we do alright for the rest of the season. Should imagine he will be a relatively high earner too so imagine that will be a consideration as part of any option discussion.
