I didn't quote him, I said I agreed with one of his opinions. Nobody is wrong or right all the time, I even agree with some of your opinions sometimes

 

It might be that due to the urgency of getting someone in, Walker has been recruited but will be back up to a new number 1 in the summer. That would make more sense to me.

 

Agree, and with that in mind (on paper) Walker is a decent enough replacement signing IMO.

I like Harry Lewis, it’s sad to see him go. But as long as we have been and have the potential to be even more so compensated in a decent way, I don’t have an issue with how this scenario has played out.

I haven't seen any details of the transfer so not sure if there are add ons included. Normally to appease the fans, clubs would say there's a sell on clause for us to potentially earn more from the transfer. It could be that Carlisle have paid more to buy out any future payments.

I too liked Lewis but I became more nervous and expectant of a mistake this season, than last. It could be as a result of the many changes to the defence in front of him. I'd say he's a good keeper, but not a great one. Best we've had in a few seasons though.

I Have watched Walker a few times since joining and I am impressed so far, although lewis was a great shot stopper, he had his faults, Walker is much better at commanding his box and coming for crosses, and never shuts up !!!

 

I have been impressed with Walker in goal. Our defence appears to be stronger. It has taken GA some time to instill you defend as a team, and he has found his starting three, and if we need 4 Stubbs comes on. Having a stronger goalkeeper has has a strengthening effect on the defence. Long may it continue.

 

Kept a close eye on Carlisle’s highlights since Lewis went and I have to say some his goalkeeping has been shocking. Some Carlisle fans must wonder what all the fuss was about.

 

You are right.Some of his positioning has been dreadfull.

 

100% an upgrade on Lewis. Plain for all to see and nobody can deny it
