I'm not too sure with regards you're small change comment his supposive wealth is around 100,000,000 Euro if he thinks he could get £10,000,000 10% is hardly small change.

That would not be the fans fault. It's an entertainment business and they are failing. It's completely their fault. Sparks should but won't recognise that he needs to resign for the better good. Rupp I think is more anxious about who he sells to rather than money grabbing. I want him gone but I think he genuinely feels bad about buying us and the debacle that followed and doesn't want to subject the club to another round. I wanted wagmi in as did others and how wrong we were, Rupp in fairness said no. If I'm right then I hope he sells soon as he can't even be arsed employing a proper ceo. Regardless, whilst they remain in situ, having that time to spend in worthwhile areas on a Saturday is more appealing.

 

Although I agree with most of your post how does Rupp guarantee he's selling to the new owners who will take us forward, we all thought that was the case when Rupp and his co-partner took over, Rupp certainly has the wealth but he believed Rahic could do it by developing our own talent that were cast offs from Premier clubs, there are gems out there but how many do you have to process to find one.

 

I can’t see us losing that many season tickets, maybe a couple of thousand tops. There will be the usual spin from Sparksey over summer which will get some back onboard and the direct debit option makes it so cheap people will get one even if they don’t plan to go very often.

 

30% is my estimate. If that loses David Brent his job, then so be it.

 

It’s possible, although I recon Sparks and Rupp have developed a fans vs the club mindset, I can’t see him going anywhere anytime soon.

 

It all depends on what the spin is and how many fans believe it. Realistically, difficult to see what any rabbit out of the hat could be before or during the ST campaign (could wildly speculate though, but not going to here), and without Rupp dipping into his pocket to make up or go beyond any deficit, I think we're more than likely in for a few even tougher and nerve jangling seasons.

Agreed and if we take it in good faith that the player budget already has been reducing because of the national economy issues, any reduction in income through reduced ST sales will be more than significant on the player budget for next season and beyond.

 

And this is where we as fans need to be a little more proactive and not behave like sheep, or we'll just continue to drift along in some kind of oblivion

 

This is where fans need to understand that boycotting games and not renewing season tickets will likely cause more harm to the club than good.

But what is the point? If we cannot compete with those who have a plan of action and a strategy for borrowing money then we might as well pack it in. One of the reasons I can’t be bothered with friendlies because apart from getting the squad fit they are meaningless.

 

If we get to Wembley in the tinpot Cup, there will be a season ticket launch video showing clips of our previous trips to Wembley. If we get knocked out in the semis, I'm not sure if there will even be a launch video.

 

This club, this season is certainly testing people's patients. I wouldn't blame anyone for not renewing.

The way things are going with the fans forums etc I'm surprised there isn't a call to boycott buying for next season.

It's clean after this window they've given up on the playoffs and it shows in the players.
