That's a million less for the playing budget-what will that buy? I would suggest relegation. Now that would definitely hurt his assets value don't you agree?

Huw Jenkins' purchase of 52% of Newport was completed today, the process to buy starting back in September. He's promised money for the window too. Only mentioning as he was linked to heading up a consortium to purchase us not too long back.

I presume you’d still go if we got relegated?
We are all in it for the long run.

Rupp is in it to make profit. Nothing else.

National league teams don’t get sold for the amount of money that he reportedly wants for a lge 2 team.
It would hurt him massively in the one area that matters most to him.
    The value of his investment.

It took him a few weeks before he spoke to the new manager
What makes you think he would want to speak to us mere fans

I am sure he would talk to a competent representative of the supporters.

Of course it would hurt us as fans and I think deep down you know that. That said, this is what the club rely on. They know that the fans don't want the club to go bust so they think people will renew whatever.

The problem is that this is now creating more of a likelihood of it happening anyway albeit slower.

The club is heading for a slow death right now. The threat of a quicker death may cause a reaction.

The overheads alone would kill the club at that level. They only future in that scenario is a Phoenix Tean

Rather than speak to the 3rd most important man at the club !!!
Doubt you yourself even believe that one
Rupp cares only about protecting his investment which the fans (at present) are doing for him
    Have you another solution??

It would need to be on zoom or in Germany because the majority of time he can’t be arsed coming to the club.

Not had a chance to read through recent pages but I do sense that we're at a pivotal moment and the majority of fans are seriously concerned for our future under the current ownership and CEO regime.

So the questions becomes, what can we do about it?

A Season Ticket boycott has risk, but we be the most direct and impactful way of both getting Rupps attention and forcing his hand.

Some form of activism during the remainder of this season? Protests, match boycotts. Would this have enough impact and send enough of a message to Sparks and Rupp?

Or attempting to contact Sparks/Rupp through a joined up 'supporters group'. The problem here would be logistical.

But in any event, enough is enough. The abject lack of interest and capability in establishing a plan and means of taking this club forward, is a serious risk to the future of the club.

A season ticket boycott is the way forward nothing to stop us buying them once he's gone providing the new regime with an instant cash flow boost lessening damage to the club
Match boycotts wouldn't have any effect he would already have our money
Communication is an option but he rarely tends his investment anyway
As you say serious concerns from a good % of fans
