Rupp & Sparks Out?

Like it or not our clubs decline started when Rupp and the puppet master bought the club, way before Sparks took the CEO job, take our first season under Mccall and its been downhill from there and lets not forget for the all the rubbish talked about Parky taking club property he left McCall with a very good squad of players which with a little more quality in various positions got us to Wembley.
I get where most are coming from but Rupp employed Sparks to do a job and unfortunately he's doing as his boss requested.

 

Bless you. Despite all your angst and ire you won't actually attend a supporters meeting to discuss how we can attempt to stop the club going into oblivion and I want to be there. Work that out if you can.

Trust you, no I was thinking more sustainability so Rupp doesn't need to put his hands in his pocket to support the club financially.

 

And IMHO the there lies the problem. If Rupp had topped up the playing budget we may have had a better team. Though , those spending the money also need questioning. It's a right mess.

 

Well if the catering people catered for 16,000 last night they need to do a little more research with regards midweek football at Valley Parade, when its been raining most of the day, blowing a gale, not forgetting the product on show has not been much to write home about all season, and most of last season

You've already made your position clear @Faithful Bantam and that's not a pop, not sure if @Bantamsteve has one this season but I wouldn't want to make that call, if it did finish in relegation we couldn't survive, and certainly not if we had no other ground to play in other than Valley Parade.

 

It's a tough decision for anyone. Such a shame it's even part of the discourse really. We deserve better.

 

If we did win at Swindon and then beat Doncaster Rovers at home in the EFL Trophy given a decent day we'd be back in the 12/13,000 possibly more, of course the club would say 16,000 as that is people who have purchased season tickets and tickets on the day plus away fans although AFC Wimbledon wont bring many.

 

Amen to that, no matter what we think about the situation I can't see Rupp walking and also can't see him getting the figure that is getting banned about with regards his price to sell, and Ryan won't walk away again Rupp seems happy with the status quo.

 

Initial £500k, so looks like there is more to it than just that
