Lets just say I'm not going down with any sort of enthusiasm as I usually have, but a big well done to you and others traveling miles to watch what could be a fiasco (yes what changes) and then a 2 hour drive home.

Backs to the goal for 45 mins, hoof for the other. The positive difference from then will be at least with GA he has some experience of the arse end of soccer, and hopefully won't be telling them to go tippy tappy and to try to pass it around and short pass down the wings (aka puddles).

 

No more than he has to put up with on here at times

Yes totally agree certainly not a night for playing out from the back, but not an excuse for aimlessly hoofing the ball either.

 

Trouble is after playing on it tonight it will only deteriorate, it wasn't great against Crawley.

I think it's probably too late for that anyway to be fair. It's already ruined and with the amount of home games left I suppose we'll just have to get on with it.

 

The pitch is definitely finished for this season, that's for sure.

You are excused. It is important to be safe first.

 

The Midland Road side which gets the sun doesn't look bad, the main issues seems to be the Main Stand side and unfortunately there's nothing we can do to make it much better with so many home games coming up. The touchlines will always get destroyed by the assistant running up and down it, issue now is that it's slippy when the ball is on the other side they will come onto the pitch and destroy the inside of it so the line will look even worse in a few games. Clubs could probably do with assistant referees being able to alternate sides of they can sometimes use the right back side to spread out the damge.
