We all know the former , ie passion and belief helps, “ blind “ investment is useless.

Do Barrow, Burton or Wimbledon? What’s that got to do with anything? As many who criticise Rupp finances aren’t a part of the criticism it’s only people like yourself who bring it up. Clubs like Scunthorpe, Yeovil, Burton and Wycombe have all been in the championship more recently than us. It doesn’t take mega bucks to get us there, just people who have an actual idea of what they are doing. You asked earlier to make clubs with billionaire owners who are failing and I forgot to answer. Barnsley and Salford who are more our level than a Man United. Both have had billionaire’s invest in them and Barnsley were relegated to league 1 with them in charge.

There is no point in selling Young for peanuts.

When the transfer window has closed he will have no choice but to play for us for the rest of the season.

That’s all down to football management in the LOWER divisions, zero to do with finance as a one off successful season . Please don’t compare billionaires owning football clubs that don’t spend money , I said one needs to BE a billionaire to continually invest money to REMAIN successful .

Barnsley have pretty serious financial problems don’t they! Wage bill last season £13m ! No overdraft……..

Charlton have told Clarke-Harris to make his decision it seems or they are moving on. He's been in negotiations for well over a week, fee agreed and everything says both sides. Charlton rumoured to have offered him a pay rise too but again, both sides, paper and on forums are all saying that his agent has told him to wait out as Wrexham are interested and seemingly have told his agent they can match the Charlton offer.

Charlton won't go up this year, but Wrexham very well could and there's likely a 20-30% promotion wage rise on the Wrexham contracts, so could be in L1 on mega money by June. Cant see Young breaking into their starting team, but that's not our problem as long as we get a good fee. Charlton are more likely than your Exeters and Prot Vales of the league to stump up some cash.

The majority of clubs are run sustainably it’s just that fans haven’t latched on to it as a stick to beat the club with

Which clubs have no debt and publicly run a sustainability strategy? Let’s see some evidence.

I can’t think of any club in L1/2 that doesn’t have a money no object owner, ( Colchester) that is sustainable using its own financial income that isn’t in debt.

Andy Holt @ Accrington Stanley ticks most boxes apart from the money no object .

This is as accurate as your recent affirmation that a Chief Scouts job isn't to locate the right players for the club.

You got to wonder, if Lewis going to Carlisle and Young linked is connected? A clause perhaps if they get first dibs on Young.

Or maybe them clubs who are run sustainably simply dont hand out daft fooking contracts to over the hill footballers.

Like i said before the majority of folk aint wanting Rupp to throw daft money at it all we want is a club to be run right within its mean can you honestly say we are doing that ?????

The Lewis and Young money should go straight back into the pot to actually give us a chance if going up but when its only going to cover the wages of shite footballers then you really have a problem.

Derbyshire 2k a week over 18 months comes to £156,000 and that just the first of money.

I mean fair enough if we are a buying a selling club so be it but ffs you shouldnt be selling because you have fooked up in bringing a load of crap in that nobody wants

Word on the street up here is Young will/may sign for us tomorrow, but it also should be mentioned that Charlton are also after him.
Just a thought, but maybe Bradford could become our 'Feeder Club', (ha only joking) I had to try and cheer myself up after another dreadful performance yesterday.
Lewis, BTW played well, looks a decent keeper, however he will certainly have his work cut out in that team.
