I've got to say, Rog, the man doesn't help himself.

He jumps into each job with both feet and don't think he does any due diligence.

His comments about MK Dons were perplexing, not expecting them to want to play a specific style of football... Now he's come here post-Hughes and tried to completely reinvent the way we play.

What is he thinking?

 

Use whatever excuses you want the facts say he's contributes to 4 goals for other players which suggests your playing for himself is not the case, the role of a striker is to score goals for his club and he certainly cant be accused of not do that the last four season,s the job of the likes of Walker and Pattison is to make create/chances for the likes of Cook and any contributions with regards them scoring is a bonus.
Poor reply and I usually enjoy your posts they usually give a balanced opinion/view of the game/season but I cant agree today, didn't hear many complaining about him being greedy when he sticks the ball in the net, just as he did today.
Not sure what that comment is supposed to mean I have also seen every league game this season.

The new manager bounce has disappeared. I think Banbrotam was the one that said no club has been promoted after sacking their manager and it looks like he's right in our case.

I think you'll be the same as me my club is Bradford City as yourself been there late 50s early 60s, if I was going to walk away as sure as hell it would have been before now, but as you say its not that easy although there are far more things to do now adays on a Saturday thats Bradford City day for many.
Everton are my second favourite team (I pick em don't I) again that choice goes back to when they had a good team and were a power in League One never follow (not support) the club across Stanley Park but Everton are always the first result I look for when they play, and I never dreamed of changing my club for that team 10 miles down the road although many of my work mates from Bradford did prefer going to Elland Road it would have been so easy back then when they were also a force in football, but its not all about winning especially when you start taking your grandson as I did the season Stuart returned, and hes dafter than me with regards watching City as and when he can
So going back to your original point I and I'd think those who attend games view Bradford City as our/their team, as had been said many times the likes of Stafford Heginbotham, Geoff Richmond, Jack Tordoff. David Simpson, Bob Martin, Julian Rhodes or Mark Lawn were only custodians and passing through, where as it will be poor health or our passing that stops the likes of us not attending.

 

I didn't attend today's game but reading the matchday thread I know exactly how travelling fans must be feeling on their way home having witnessed lacklustre performances many times over the years.
Financially attending certainly comes into the equation especially the longer trips that's why I'm giving Swindon a miss not because I've fallen out with the team but the prices charged are just not viable and it's not enjoyable watching the mid table mediocrity on show in League Two.
Today's result feels like a loss based on what I've read the remarks almost make me feel like giving up but I won't if I get a ticket I'll be back on the road again against Wrexham regardless because nothings changed and won't until there a change of personal in the boardroom.
I hate been negative but the harsh reality of the situation is there for all to see even the most ardent fans are starting to question their sanity.

I do find time to post on here Bronco. I like the debate and banter. It's a sad state of affairs that its the most enjoyable aspect of supporting the club. I'll always want us to do well, but until there's serious change, I'll stay in a position mostly of apathy and watching some games on ifollow in the comfort of my front room.

 

We've discussed this several time most of this season celebrating goals has been completely different to us scoring last season, disappointing to say the least I'm not suggesting it needs to continue for minutes but to congratulate the goal scorer is something you do as a fellow team mate, it even goes right down to kids playing the game with all the gestures, love it unless it continues to long.

 

Halcyon days them mate.
