Can you blame Rupp for not funding player recruitment though with the track record we have? Would you input £millions not knowing if it was to be spaffed up the wall on a Derbyshire or the like. I know I wouldn't.

The risk is with the team below Rupp and right now they are all failing badly.

 

Then simply get rid we can all see they are failing so why cant he ??????
Simple because he couldnt give a shit so long as me you and others are paying for his fook up then why should he ??????

Him and Sparkes will no doubt think they are doing fine as long as the cash continues to come in.

 

To be fair I think it goes much much deeper than that

For instance, the Cowleys have come out and said the main reason they chose Colchester last week was down to meeting the owner - his enthusiasm, passion, drive and aim/future plan. Our lack of this is the reason they turned us down. It is this somewhat personal touch that mean we fail season after season, despite investment/budgets/big name managers.

Until experienced people are running this club again - who have a genuine interest in the club - then we’ll remain in the doldrums forever. Their lack of ambition only means that it is ultimately us fans that suffer

 

Getting rid of his management team would only see the return of Captain Admin

Fair points-a club is in trouble when its fans care more about it than the owner does.

 

Our owner had a 30 minute telephone conversation about a month after the manager signed.....unbelievable!!

 

The fact the owner will not put his money in but expects you to put yours in for him says it all

 

I’ve got to the stage where I just want to watch a game of football but aren’t fussed if we lose or draw. Maybe I’m just long in the tooth after 35 years going to VP or apathy has all and truly set in! I’ll probably renew but at the minute I’m on the fence.

 

The Crowley brothers confirmed they didn’t turn us down. They were NEVER offered the job. They declined a final interview and have taken a job on their doorstep

 

That's turning us down FFS, not sure how you can't see that?

Anyway, shock horror Park defending the hierarchy again I see. It really doesn't matter what spin you try put on it, they turned US down. I have had several interviews in my lifetime and declined a 2nd interview, which is ME turning THEM down. In fact I think saying "thanks but no thanks" for a final interview looks even worse on us, as they saw enough the first interview to make a decision not to accept if offered the job. Probably thought working under Sparks & Gent would be like working for the chuckle brothers, and couldn't answer half of the questions the Cowleys asked them, for instance "what is your 3 year plan" or "why have you been in L2 for so long"

 

I wasn't aware that Aleister Crowley even had a brother.

 

If you are a City fan why not renew your season ticket.
Me and the Mrs will be renewing ours. We have seen some great games home and away.
Yes, some result's don’t go as you would like. I think City are financially sound, some might think differently. Suppose, if you’re not happy you can vote with your feet and choose another option or football club to follow.

 

This was me. Didn’t renew this season for the first time in over 20 years and have absolutely 0 regrets. The offering was utter shite on a Saturday afternoon and it hasn’t improved in the slightest. I don’t plan on returning till Sparks has at least been replaced.

 

I’ve stopped going I’ve given up halfway through just like the club have, I’ve never been so disillusioned with the club m, in previous years I still had the motivation to go no matter what over the last 35 years but this owner and the idiot have sucked every bit of enjoyment from the experience

I’ll go again when they go although I’d settle for a CEO with experience a bit the nodding puppy we have now

we want a our football club people wouldn’t renew to seek another club to support they won’t renew for a club happy with mid table and sell sell mentality - this is polarised by the we are going for it marketing to get season ticket money when in reality we ain’t going nowhere
