Both Chapman and Pointon looked good tonight at one time Pointon took two Derby players on and was as physical as they were, he may only be a kid but with his boxing back ground he's got the physique to make the physical challenges, and old McDonald had a good game, Stubbs being well up for it, good night all round, just awaiting Alexander post match interview.

 

A big plus tonight is 40,000 in the coffers. We might not have to sell Young.

Just watch the attack they had towards the end where the ball is ricocheting all over and Smallwood,McDonald and Odour are all back in the box defending as well as the CH’s.

Wasn't going to watch tonight as I had visions of us getting done over but glad I changed my mind. Stubbs, Chapman, Pointon, and Taylor all giving GA something to think about for Saturday, Oliver not so much.

Tompkinson, if I had to single anyone out, looks like he has clanger in him each match. He almost cost an equaliser tonight. Penalties given away in the last few weeks too. Young and promising, but needs an experienced player to have a word.

Seconded. Good and fair commentary. Even better that it was a good game to watch -- we did well. Good movement, solid defending, and could (?should) have won more comfortably.

I obviously have to continue predicting us to get thumped, over in our prediction league.
