Its a mistake because osadebe is garbage whenever he sets foot on the pitch. Odour has shown something in the cup and should have been ahead in the pecking order. He’s also left footed and offers better balance. Dont think we needed hindsight to see starting osadebe was a bad call at all.

 

He's tailor ( no pun intended) made for the support behind Cook and Smith. Are you honestly trying to suggest that Osadebe is a better option in the hole. Do me a favour!

He absolutely isnt and should be nowhere near the starting eleven again.Cutting GA some slack, he probably hasnt seen enough of him before today to see how truly bad he is! I do think though that for all the promise Pointon showed earlier in the season, unfortunately he has become a casualty of this formation. I'd be very sorry to see him leave though. For now I'm more concerned about the missing Chapman as if fit, he should have been first pick for the Walker role imo

If you are Osadebe in that formation your brief is to support Cook and Smith in attacking areas and getting beyond Gillead and Smallwood in and around the d. If that's not the hole then it's ever so slightly deeper but I don't see much difference tbh. In essence he's the 3rd man in the box. Pointon would relish that position.

 

I bought that from Alexander tbf. He probably doesn't want to reward poor trainers but when the alternative is Osadebe you need to be flexible with your principles.

Id rather have Walker on crutches than Osadebe. Hope Pointon is back on the bench again soon

 

Pointon is the best young prospect we have had in years , we need to extend his contract and let him develop, I am sure he will be a great asset in future. Just a quick shoutout to Kelly who had a solid game and laid on a peach of a cross for The equalising goal.

 

Kelly has been fantastic since we switched to 5-3-2, yep. Fair play to him. Very good again today, as was Platt

 

Is Chapman injured or just not selected?

 

Maybe Rupp is becoming impatient with waiting for our promotion and want to realise interest on his assets. So maybe prepared to sell young Pointon? Who knows but Parkinson had a similar attitude to GA with good young players. I think both scenarios are short sighted. Having tasted men’s football at this level wants to continue playing.

 

If Oduor doesn’t train we’ll he is a silly boy because he has a lot of talent and if as it suggest he is lazy he is going to waste it
