If being poor is being unbeaten in 7 with 6 wins then yes we are a really poor side indeed.

Were you one of the brain dead booing the team off at half time?

Well you got your wish and the lad had a very good second half, talking to one of the stewards and he was saying he'd spoken to Walker wife and he's got heavy bruising and it looks like a 3 week job, but the club are sending him for a check up so they will know more when the results come back.

Poor sides tend to be rock bottom of the league :) Now dont get me wrong we are far from great but we aint poor......... i mean do poor teams win 6 games on the trot :) and come back from 2-0 down ?????
Nobody on here is getting carried away at all but after the shocking first half display at Notts County this in all honesty is one hell of a turnaround .

If you make mistakes you get punished. Alexander made a huge mistake starting Osadebe, who was dire, a passenger, before he was hooked. We looked so much better after Odour came on.

It’s helped cost us three points but that might be Osadebe’s last game for the club, in which case it will be a blessing in disguise.

I think the booing was aimed at the nobhead reffing the game :) and in all honesty i actually didnt think the 1st half was even that bad compared to how shit some of the 1st half performances where under Hughes............

Agree if our aspirations are promotion, we should be winning that game. However a poor side is harsh. We might not be the auto promotion pushing squad we all hoped for, but we are not poor. Poor is relegation.

GA is showing when set up better, we can compete better than we were. I don’t look at us thinking we are far too good for where we currently sit, but think we have enough to be around the play offs at the end of the season.

Gillead was class against Doncaster. Nobody covered more ground. He was superb again today. He’s such a key player in this 5-3-2.

Halliday was good, as were Platty and Kelly at the back. Richards is always a danger going forward.

smith had an off day for his standards but he’s allowed that, the run he’s been on.

Odour did enough to start while Walker is out. No idea where Bobby and Pattison are but good effort second half, lads.

GA learnt an important lesson in that he can’t rely on osadebe.

I can't see Osadebe starting again this season used as he has been so far this season as a late sub as he was very poor where the others were just poor, I'd hoped for a reaction from those who never showed at their place but although Morecambe knocked it about well we caused them few problems.
We were very unlucky with the first goal but we seemed to have very few answers to them when they attacked, having said that great fight back and with a bit more luck could/should have won the game with Cooks header rattling the cross bar and maybe Oliver ? should have done better with the rebound.
Still not heard Alexanders post match interview but I hoped Rayner asked about Pointon, Patterson and Chapman not even making the bench.

The next 2 games will be a good measure of how good or poor we are.
4 points will be a great effort, 2 or 3 points is average. Anything less is poor.
    We could well lose both.

Alexander said they sent him for a scan but it was too heavily bruised so he has had to go back for another. Sounded like he won't be fit until the New Year.

Edit, @Bronco@Bronco - GA said Patto felt something at the end of the Donny match so they took him out as a precaution. Pointon was unlucky basically and is close to the squad. He wasn't asked about Chapman and GA didn't mention him.

GA said Pointon needs to continue to work hard in training. Pattison is injured-another niggle. Didn't ask about about Chapman.

Never good when your manager makes those sort of comments, not a comparison of course I bet Georgie Best was not the best in training at Man Utd but he could unpick defences, as I've previously said Alexander hasn't done much wrong after the first half debacle at Notts County so maybe Alexanders still trying to see who fits in where best when we have a situation like today with no Walker, Oduor couldn't have done his chances of at least a regular place on the bench after todays second half performance.

That ref is nothing short than a disgrace.

First half was piss poor. Our players shit themselves in front of a bumper crowd. Osadebe... I never want to see him a city shirt ever again.

Second half small improvement. Players still obsessed with passing the ball backwards for no reason. Good to see Smallwood tell his teammates to get the ball forward.

Becoming a bit of a sicknote is Pattison.
Pointon is an enthusiastic city fan who was a breath of fresh air during Hughes boring football but he would have been bullied and battered by Morecambe today.
Chapman I’m not sure about. Has great moments in games but in all honesty, they really are just ‘moments’. We need more from him in games.

Happy in the end with that point. Great to come back and show that resilience. Not sure we would have done that under Hughes.

I couldn't see us getting anything from the game at half time because we had no one with the quality of Walker on the pitch or on the bench with regards holding the ball and maybe having a goal in them, I was more than happy for Oduor to prove me wrong having said that I prefer a fit Walker any day, but if for nothing else its proved to anyone who went or watched the game today unfortunately Osadebe can't play that role.

He has good athleticism and is dynamic in his play. Delivery is OK. His positioning, decision making and consistency are poor, but that's typical for a young and inexperienced player. He could develop well, but do we have the luxury of carrying development players...?
He's also got the problem of having another 'development player' behind him on the left of the 3 in Kelly.

I'm not laying into the lad, there's definitely a place for him in the squad. What we need is a really strong left Wing Back so he can learn on the job, not be over exposed and I see it as an area of the first team we can clearly strengthen to help kick us on.

It looks to be a recent thing and I feel its because he was rushed back (or rushed himself back) from the early season injury. Same could have happened with Cook, we got lucky there.
