I am in the not sure category. We recently had to move seats due to my husbands back and knee problem. The new seats they put in just about crippled him. So we went up into the posh seats where there is a lot more room, but expensive and we had an increase in price this year to use a facility that has not had any upgrade and the food has deteriorated in my view. We don’t use it anymore.

I hate this division, we rarely get to see a good entertaining level of football. My husband has been going since he was 10 years old, so 66 years. I have been going since 1967. We have obviously missed a number of games during that time, but I would guess attend more than we have missed. We didn’t bother with ST until the Midland Road was built and apart from 1 year for me Taylor, we have always had one.

This last couple of years it has been by and large boring at best and downright awful. The parking round the ground has become very limited unless you get there about 12. My husband can’t walk very far without a lot of pain. We have tried using the paid for car parks, but we got shunted into the Timber Yard and we can get it for free for the same distance. We tried using public transport but ended up getting home at 7:30pm thanks to all the road works in Bradford. The only thing that works well is a taxi there and back £30 return. The parking adjacent to the ground is not available.

At the moment my husband doesn’t want to renew as he doesn’t think the expense and effort required is worth it. Obviously, he might change his mind if the team start to play, but it most definitely up in the air atm.

    Sorry to hear your story.

Sounds like you're not being treated too well, unfortunately, which is a real shame after all these years.

It feels more and more like City operates like a cattle market - more interesting in 'processing' the numbers than individual support.

We are ok honest. It is just that it requires a lot of effort atm, and I have no doubt others are much worse off. A few years ago nothing would have stopped us going or buying a ST. Thank you for your kind thoughts.

See this is the thing. Fans have high expectations still but low expectations of themselves. We go to games expecting things to happen or at least forward procession but these things don’t happen.

So, maybe it’s time for us to all take a stance and not go next season because this club is taking advantage of fans.

    We deserve better!

It’s the answer for all fans!

Enough is enough. Time for fans to make a stance next season unless Rupp and Sparks highlight vision or change for the club.

Well if the owner of the club doesn’t care about it then why should fans.

So l guess you are one of the 16 not renewing your Season Ticket next season, given you stance? Do you have a row of 6 with tremendous seats in the Main Stand? Let me know if this development is going to happen. Always looking to find a benefit if there is a ‘fire sale’ golden opportunity.

With iFollow apparently being scrapped next season. It will make it harder for fans who are often abroad like me to watch games, which could maybe see a few more buy season tickets and some make more of an effort to attend a few games.

Ill remind you all of this

    https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/sport/sportlatest/23505607.ryan-sparks-bantams-said-yes-new-efl-tv-deal/

    Quote from Sparks the clown:

"City are currently by far the biggest club for streaming revenue in League Two and they would lose out if they are still in the same division when the deal kicks off for the 2024/25 season.

It would, in effect, level the playing field financially - with the Bantams giving up any advantage they have currently on rival clubs such as Stevenage or Northampton.

But Sparks stressed the club’s ambition to gain promotion - if not via the play-offs later this month, then certainly pushing hard again next season.

“The way we’ve gone about with our streaming strategy and what that’s done for our growth will be slightly stunted if we were to remain in League Two,” he added.

“On the face of it, we are a loser in our division - the additional income would be less than our domestic streaming revenue.

“Equally, our rivals who are nowhere near that level will now have this as some form of bonus payment.

“There are certain clubs in the top seven who will sell less than £100,000 in streaming passes and they now have £200,000.

“We sell considerably more than that and will now have £200,000, so the maths obviously work against us as things stand."

“Should we climb the divisions, League One is obviously more beneficial with additional funding beyond £400,000."

If we stay in this league next season the only way out is ST sales and I for one wont watch another year in League 2. The refs, the opposition, the disinterested team, the ownership. My whole saturday is built around going to the game. That of those people around me is as well by proxy. Depressing myself every second saturday is not a good use of my time.

There's also a new EFL "solidarity deal" being ratified with the PL which will see an increase on current payments of about £350k in funding for each L2 club this season, with £420k for 24/25 and by 25/26 it'll be £700k more than it currently is.

CHANGES TO CURRENT WAYS OF WATCHING
Will matches still be available to watch via iFollow, or Clubs’ alternative streaming services?

    • From the 2024/25 season onward, this new deal with Sky Sports will effectively replace the EFL’s domestic video streaming option provided via iFollow and club streaming services
    • Audio services will remain alongside existing audio-visual arrangements for international audiences.
How is everyone reading this? Does it mean that audio and video will still apply to iFollow for foreign audiences?
