Oh and get Bobby signed up to a long contract asap.

 

The kid had a great game a breath of fresh air unfortunately he wont be at Valley Parade too long with performances like today, I'll be honest when Mcdonald subbed him for Wilson I made the comment Pointon for me was MOTM why is he bringing our best attacking threat off............................ops great call McDonald egg on face Bronc's.

We certainly went for it.

 

Really enjoyable game and a good performance - by far the best under McDonald.

Gilliead, Smallwood and Pointon very good.

 

Wow, what a breathtaking game.

2 decent sides going hammer and tong at each other.

That's what the fans wanted to see Mr Hughes, despite only the point gained.

Fantastic atmosphere from both sets of fans.

Great response to going behind from fans and players alike, we would have lost that under Hughes.

Pointon getting all the plaudits, he's some player alright. However. my MOTM today was Smallwood,, I thought he was excellent and provided that cool head at times when required. Gilly was also very good alongside him.

First time I've seen Ash Taylor, I thought he was very good alongside Stubbs.

 

I would rather watch us in the last 4 games than tippy outta da back baba scarey nervy footy.

 

Thought Gilliead put in some proper hard yards today.
Got back to break up their attacks on quite a few occasions.

Exactly what I posted at half time "This lot look weak at the back, a little more composure".

 

Dave we are all forgetting he’s played a handful of games and 90 mins isn’t on his scorecard just yet. I praised MH for easing in him, KMc is doing the same. However he was fabulous for me . What a player .

 

Just compare todays 1-1 draw with the games against Grimsby and Harrogate that also finished 1-1

He was poor today, yards from being sharp. I don’t care about tin hats, he wasn’t a threat to them at all.

 

We’d have lost that under MH. All that needs to be said.

Great game of football, Wrexham are a typical Parky team and they did enough in the game to keep our front line quiet with the holding and pulling about. Their goal was caught us napping but credit to us for getting back into the game. You can see how the team has improved since McDonald took over, the games he has been in charge you can see the players have taken on board his instructions.

 

I don't know about anyone else but I'm exhausted after that. Most enjoyable league game at VP in a long time. Shame Cook isn't on top of his game at the moment or we'd have won that 2 or 3-1.
Edited to add, we should have got the pen towards the end. I didn't think it was hand ball but looking at this, I've changed my mind.

 

Taylor keeps his place in the team IMO.

Agree with everything. This is the second time I would have given my mom to Smallwood I thought he was excellent, and led the team. Gilly was also excellent. Bobby he is one of our own he’s one of our own Bobby Pointon is one of our own a great little footballer


I thought they all played well and a thoroughly enjoyable game.

 

Covered every blade of grass a great engine the lad has.

 

Wrexham are very ordinary. Mullin aside, the look like any other League Two side. Aside from the goal, all they did was wait for a defensive mistake. Parkys days are numbered, I can’t see the owners accepting that poor football long term
