Some fans on here are embarrassing. Say no to every name! Ha ha I hope Sparks isn’t a people pleaser. Just get the best man the club thinks for the job.

 

I don't recall a single post that has rejected someone based on race, religion, or gender. Someone's track record as a football team manager seems to me to be an entirely reasonable criterion for discussion. Other factors such as ethics, morality, and criminal record would also, as I see it, be reasonable grounds for debate. Your opinion here is just as much of a joke as everyone else's. I said it's a joke that we have had 26 managers in 23 years. The comment regarding race , gender, was just exhaustive listing alongside my use of religion as no doubt give it long enough and the extensive rangers cult amongst our fanbase it would be offering fierce opposition to Lennon for obvious reasons

 

I was also wondering this. Unusual set up, even for family.

 

We've had 18 permanent managers since 2000 not 26 with the next one being number 19

 

Maybe it's the right way to go. Seems old school but picking who we want hasn't worked so let's try inviting 2 or 3 in and saying "tell us what you'd do", let's see what they say.

 

Nearly all managers have a favoured assistant who follows from club to club. It's just that in this case he happens to be his brother.

If your pressing me for a name, here you go and I'll give a reason for each

Evans - been there done it, would imo get the job done and also turn us into a nasty lot that everyone would hate playing

Wild - worked wonders on a budget at Halifax and barrow. Knows the lower league and what is required. Horrid football but would you take 25 1-0 wins if it meant promotion

Any upcoming PL coach someone similar to what Ipswich struck lucky with..new ideas, fresh out of the coaching schemes, likely knows the under 23 leagues pool we are going to be fishing in

 

So KM would fill your last criteria to a tee? In spades !

Rupp has no interest in us hence why Sparks is still in the position he is in.
