Nobody was more anti BPA than me in the 60/70’s. It’s was proper tribal stuff in those days but to link it in 2023 is straw clutching .

 

That was one weird team selection at Barnsley, especially after the total dominance and destruction of Rochdale at Spotland.

 

That and his refusal to revert to the previous formation afterwards. He turned into a tinker man from that day on and it was rapidly downhill.
Prior to Barnsley, like you say, he was starting to get a real tune out of the team

 

Someone posted with regards our inconsistency last season a good first 45 or a good second 45 when was the last time we completely dominated for the whole 90 minutes, I'm sure there will be games since that performance but we were a delight to watch that afternoon, once again with a full away allocation cheering the lads on.

They were all as bad that day, but I think your right the lad got hooked at half time, I think this was the lad Thiam who gave him the run around, I believe it was at Barnsley that @Allotment Bantam asked if I was Bronco from the forum ?.

Odusina has been hard done by in my opinion. He’s had a couple of rough games but it seems he’s been totally outcast by the manager. He’s not a bad defender - but he played against Stockport at home and Leyton Orient away, both of who ran us ragged in those games. That’s not down to Odusina but it seems there’s no way back for him.

It's true but...

 

My guess is that Hughes wanted him to go out on loan in January but Odusina refused.

 

I agree doesnt seem like he has had much of a chance tbh, but we only see whats on the pitch on a match day, not in training, or whats said between player and manager, maybe there has been a fall out.

Best thing he could do right now is either leave or go out on a 6 month loan.

 

Hartlepool tried to get him back on loan but Timi wanted to stay and fight for his place. He might have been better taking up the option but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

 

Don't want to be too harsh on the fella but the handful of games earlier this season exposed him as a terrible centre back. He can't compete for the ball in the air. He looked completely devoid of the ability to head the ball.
