Until last night, we were 2nd in the form table since the start of the year. I'm not going to lie, I'm worried that we might have blown it, but I'm also still desperately clutching at what few straws I can find. Northampton won last night and against Gillingham recently, but their other games in April have resulted in 2 draws and a loss. Not necessarily hitting form as you suggest, and they are also riddled with injuries so that could play a part. Stevenage have picked up 6 points from their last 2 games but only picked up 7 from the 6 games prior to that. They might go on and win their next 4 but they could just as easily slip up and drop points along the way. It's still in our hands but it feels like an absolutely mammoth task. All we can do is hope that the lads are up to it.

Why don’t we just see where we are after Northampton. If we find ourselves 3 points behind then the Crewe game becomes massive.
    Until then, Saturday is massive.

I think you'll find Oliver is not fit hence why he's not even been on the bench recently, and he's certainly not fit to replace Cook drop Cook and replace him with an unfit Oliver now theres a positive move.

I felt for you guys last night and posted likewise, a 4 hour journey home after what was a poor certainly second half, we may not have done enough to win it but we certainly didn't deserve to lose it IMO.

You only renewed your ST cos you thought we'd be playing in L1 next season?? No chance, you cannot honestly be that fickle? And if you are, then it is more plain stupid rather than fickle

If you want to glory support, go for a distant prem club :zzzz:

We are all in this together, including the team and support staff. They have to shake off the gloom and so do we! The task is to win all 4 matches. We get a second chance as we have a match in hand, that is the way I’m looking at it. We are not the only team playing under pressure top six/seven are also in the end of season pressure cooker.

I have confidence that MH can evaluate last night and move on in hours. There will be no sitting down feeling sorry for ourselves, up and at them. Injuries gives opportunities for players coming in. MH knows how to get the best out of Cook, we also need Derbyshire in my view, for his massive experience and football brain. I also think we need East, he also has a brain. Gillingham are hot, but are they ready for a full and raucous VP?

Get a grip! You was the only one before last night still wanting Orient to lose so we could win the title, now we can’t even make the playoffs! Some have such a defeatist mentality I’ll never get it. We go again Saturday, with the game in hand over Salford we are more or less guaranteed a playoff spot if we win. Mansfield also have Stevenage so after our game in hand we could be 5 points above both with a game to go. As for cheated, it’s football, they weren’t advertised as league 1 season tickets. There is a chance they will be in either division and no you aren’t cheated.

We're Bradford, we never ever make things simple for ourselves. Its just what we do. Or dont do. It'll go down to the last game as always, either to go up automatically or to make the play-offs.

We’ve failed to score in 9 of the last 23 games, so it’s not difficult to see where our problems lie. Next season we need some goal scoring midfielders who can chip in with a few goals during a season. If you play a midfield quartet of Gilliead, Clayton/ Chapman, Smallwood and Walker only Walker will score the odd goal. Fortunately our defence has been good and kept us in contention.

Well the game in hand is nearly gone. We have played the same about of games as Stevenage and 5 points behind them.

Yes, we have a game in hand over Northampton but are 6 points behind them. Ok, we have a game in hand and have to play them. So, we have to win all our games and by good margins because currently us an Northampton are on the same GD. Tough task.

Also our game in hand in after the Northampton game. So lose or draw that then the game in hand certainly counts for nothing.

A great stat that highlights our 'weaknesses' and a post that is constructive in delivery. It shows, if we are to stay in l2, that changes need to occur but not wholesale, as in previous years

I predicted that we would make the Play Off’s and then only just. Things have gone slightly better than I thought, but only marginally.

I can see us getting another 4-6 points.

This season, for all the reasons that have been dissected well beyond death, we are stuttering up the table.

If we get to the Play Off’s, there is a 1 in 4 chance of success, and we should approach it with a hard nosed mentality.

The season is far from over, but although mathematically possible, I think an Automatic Slot has now gone, we needed at least a point from last night.
