It's my realistic opinion. If you want to ignore the current facts and simply hope for the best, that's a matter for you!

What facts am I ignoring? That there’s 6 games left and we’re 2 points off an auto spot, unbeaten in 10 and just put in our best home performance of the season where our promotion rivals are all dropping points left right and centre.
Many of them also play each other in coming weeks.
It’s ours to throw away is my honest view

I saw what you did there!!!;) Accounting skills to the fore!!!

Actually I have Stockport down for 10 points.

I think they will beat Gillingham, Rochdale, and Hartlepool. Draw at Carlisle. Lose at Orient.

I think if we win the next two
    Rochdale away
    Swindon away
Then we will go straight up I know we will have 4 remaining games but we will be going into them games flying with the squad to back it up and not many around us can say the same .............that performance on Monday should give us huge optimism going forward now ......... 6 big games incoming I think 13 points would do it and we are capable of that

sad thing is that if we beat Rochdale they be more or less down which makes there game against Stockport easier for the hatters:( let’s just hope Hartlepool are still in there fighting ............ Saturday is massive for me we get over that then I can see us closing the gap even further

Hopefully Swindon still have Morris in charge for that game, sounds like he is on the verge of the sack. Rumours of a few player bust ups and then last weekend he rested Charlie Austin, who is also their captain, not just resting him by dropping him to the bench, resting him by telling him to to even bother meeting up with the squad to travelling to Tranmere. Austins wife was liking tweets slagging off the club and Morris over the weekend.

Fingers crossed the Swindon board want to keep that toxicity onboard until at least next Wednesday.

Here's a thing for you - if we win every game we will be automatically promoted. Mathematically certain.

Chalk up some dropped points next Tuesday. We've had a bit of dodgy lucky in the recent past with Swindon and referees, could well be some more as the EFL have appointed Darren Drysdale as the ref for next tuesdays match...... oh joy.

He has ref'd two of our games so far this season, the 3-0 drubbing against Orient and our 2-2 home draw with Wimbledon.

Think we need to win 4 of our last 6 for automatic.

Rochdale, Gillingham are there for the taking. Orient could be too if they are on holiday that last game. Northampton and Swindon away will be tough. No sure on Crewe. The type of game we should win on paper but will probably get a point.

Interesting that you had Stockport finishing in 7th.

They're favourites for 3rd now if you ask me.

Not that you asked me, of course.

It goes without saying that we need Gillingham to beat Stockport tomorrow and I think they will.
But what do we want from Northampton v Carlisle?
Think if I had to choose a winner I’d prefer Northampton so long as we win.

I keep changing my mind about this but at the moment, I'm favouring a Carlisle win. If we also win, it puts us within 2 points of both them and Northampton with a game in hand on them both.

Northampton not to win imo is essential. It keeps second place alive for us, if they fail to win. If Northampton win, a 5 points advantage with 5 games left (assuming we win) is insurmountable IMO

On further reflection I think a draw would be perfect

Plus several injuries (lasting 4/6 weeks) a player melee with at least two straight red cards per side, in addition to a goalless draw would surpass perfect!:imp:
