    Had a review of my thoughts after the March fixtures.

    I have revised my final guesstimate to 77 points and city finishing 4th-6th.

    I think we will miss out on the Automatic’s and have it all to do in the Play Off’s.

    There will be some games we should win and some on paper we should lose.

    So unless we can really reach another level (and others fall away), then I think the above is reasonable.

    Anyone else have any new thoughts?

    shame its not granular in terms of results. Us beating Northampton and Crewe would most likely get us in autos.

    81 will get us in the autos. Just need 5 wins and 2 draws... it is a big ask!

    The return of Derbyshire, Banks and Chapman, regardless of opinions gives us so much more attacking option.
    Especially at home.
    No coincidence that we've scored twice or more in 3 of the last 4 home matches.

    I hope you are right about the points! I am sticking with 77 at the moment which is one better than that prediction generator!

    I knew you wold like the Pev. One of my favourite all time Manchester boozers. Did you try the Rut?

    Stevenage's run in looks pretty friendly and they seemed to play quite well in the second half against Northampton. They may be able to pick up after their stumble.

    Carlisle looks a bit trickier.

    I think we have to be within 3 points of Northampton when we play them. A win there might see us take their place in the automatics or rather a win against them and then our game in hand against Crewe midweek may see us above them.

    I think the Northampton game will be key and then everyone will be watching our midweek game at Crewe.

    Need to keep winning for the next couple of matches though. The come from behind win against Grimsby will have been noted.

    No Dave I’m back over here in USA until October. If we make it to Wembley I’ll ask her indoors about a kitchen pass ( won’t happen - the pass, not Wembley).

    I'm having us not losing another match this season.

    Crawley - Win
    Sutton - Win
    Rochdale - Win
    Swindon - Draw
    Gillingham - Win
    Northampton - Draw
    Crewe - Win
    Orient - Draw

    82 points and third place behind Orient & Northampton. The key is Crewe when we win leaving us only needing a draw at home to Orient to go up.

    79 points, dont think we are consistent enough to remain unbeaten but 4 wins, 3 draws and a defeat, finishing 4th. Reckon we'll need to beat Orient to have a chance of third but might come up just short. Dont know what it is but i can see us slipping up over Easter then once more against either Swindon or Gillingham.

    Gone for the Crawley draw because their home form isn't too bad actually, 8 of their 9 wins have come at home against the likes of Stockport, Mansfield, Salford & Barrow. They stuck 3 past Stockport, Mansfield & Salford in each of those games and they have 1 defeat in their last 6. Away defeat to Swindon, dull Tuesday night game, set piece goal or even better another dodgy penalty to Swindon.

    Watched their home game with Grimsby last week and by hell, both teams were woeful
    Can't see us having any problem at their place to be honest, Cook, Walker etc will murder 'em!!!
