Podcast to be broadcast on City fire

Wow! Best stop typing before the mods have to censor me!

 

I started to listen to the podcast but if the creator can't even get the colors of our kit right i doubt his research is any good.
Twice the colors were mentioned as claret and gold!!!!!

 

That has got to be the secret information they were withholding that we play in gold not amber

I thought the last time this came up, over the article in the Guardian or the Daily Telegraph I believe, she was spouting off then about another enquiry, but wasn't she taken in hand by some of the contributors on here, and put right about it ?

 

100% that Twitter account is either the person or very closely linked to @Steampig They post in exactly the same style.

 

This really is a despicable slur on people who are not with us anymore to defend themselves. The thread should be closed and the poster banned from posting on this subject.

 

Closing it on here isn't going to make it go away though. It's all over a much bigger platform right now.

I'm guessing that he/she/it has been invited to tender his/her/its resignation from this forum.

 

Until Martin Fletcher got her involved she knew little with regards that day, she certainly knew about it after a grouped of us met her at City hall and told her a few home truths.

 

That was one of my first comments to him/her the forum has been going almost 5 years yet they did not become a member until Monday and the first post was dragging Jack Tordoff name through the gutter, he/she will not be missed.

 

They used Jack as an indirect way to discuss the fire as their original attempts to discuss it directly had been met with plenty of resistance.

Either way, they got the attention they craved for the podcast, I just hope no one bothered to listen, even if it might have tempted a few with the complete pretence of having "new, groundbreaking information".

I clearly won't be listening but I've absolutely no doubt that it's basically Martin Fletcher's grievances, spun slightly and trotted out as new information.

 

Having listened to all four available so far that's pretty much exactly what the series is, a media vehicle to hear his grievances. Despite making noises about being open minded they block anyone on twitter who doesn't agree with them or even just asks questions. Seems a lot of the podcasts seem to be lifted from the piece with Taylor and the Guardian and the documentary done about 7 years ago. Not exactly investigative journalism....

It's extremely unlikely I'd have ever listened to this, but this just removes all remaining doubt.

Tragedies shouldn't be used to further someone's media career.

If something had come out that had never previously been known, I'd have expected it to take the form of a lawsuit, not an attention-seeking podcast.

 

Yes, well done Broncs and others. Shah is a serial band wagon jumper if it gets her publicity. I refuse to listen to this latest insult but can anyone tell me what she has said on the podcast cos if she’s at it again with untruths she will hear from me.

 

How that woman keeps getting elected is anybody’s guess.
