I'm heart broken get over yourself, the forum has been in existence 5 years the annual memorial service is usually acknowledged every year, I find it strange that a life long Bantam hasn't posted before with regards that day, you right I don't know you but after reading your comments with regards that day I'd say that's a plus.

I don't think I said that, you found time to join yesterday and make comments with regard this thread I've not seen anyone agree with your posts because mostly accept Popplwells inquiry, I'll repeat I find that rather strange.
What are you actually suggesting with regards that day, the fire was a deliberate act by one of our owners, who both had friends and family sat in the stand that day, it will be interesting if you stay and post your opinion with regards anything else Bradford City or just disappear as quickly as you appeared.

I'm 100% open to discussing a subject, that I find upsetting.
Why?
Cos I (PERSONALLY) do not feel the disaster inquiry even investigation was treated in an acceptable way for the gravity of the disaster.
I feel Leon Briitan (home sec) rushed the Popplewell inquury in an attempt to remove any link of blame of the Government as they purposely applied costcutting measures and removed the due legislation for D3/4 under Safety @ Sports Ground Act 1975.

And beleive me, there's far more negativity than that I'm angry about.

 

What a terrible thread this has turned in to(I know I don't have to read it)
raking over people's grief and reviving memories of that day borders on the ghoulish
Like 90% of people there to this day I have never spoken (nor will I) about the events of that fateful day
The sights and sounds I encountered will live with me and haunt me till the day I die
I don't need any reminders
Let the casualties rest in peace let their loved ones cherish their memories and if someone wants to release a podcast IGNORE IT !!! don't give them the recognition they crave
