People saying it's nothing bad with fans going on the pitch and throwing pyrotechnics but it part of the reason why we are getting reduced allocations at some grounds and why for the games against Hartlepool are moved to a 1pm kick off as well as the Grimsby home match. Smoke bombs in enclosed spaces are just stupid and dangerous as is anyone that throws them.

as far as I’m aware that nobody has reduced our allocation because of flares it’s just down to that they simply cannot give us more tickets ............. and there was always a chance of the Grimsby game being changed due to the possibility of trouble same with the Hartlepool game and that’s not down to our fans alone

I would love to see the end of scrotes in our support but to suggest yesterday was scary or anything but a good away day is pathetic. I've seen more issues at Racing, golf tournaments and my daughters gymnastics championships than what went on yesterday. I don't know how bantamsfamily survive they must shit themselves crossing the road.

Our fans play a huge part of it as shown at the Hartlepool match last season. These incidents are on our reports which all police will see when deciding how many police are needed at games which will impact the club if the police decide more police are needed inside the ground. Once a club gets a repution it's hard to get rid of. https://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/news/crime/seven-bradford-city-fans-appear-at-teesside-crown-court-following-violence-at-hartlepool-united-match-3950554

if it was week after week then fair enough but it isn’t is it ?????
We had 4000 down there yesterday and I bet South Yorkshire police had a fairly easy day compared to what they could face

Let's just have like Valley Parade where 16,000 sit there like it's a trip to the theatre. Yesterday was rocking because it had that edge to it, the train station in Leeds was bouncing with city fans. There's a fine line sometimes between celebration and over exuberance but yesterday was exactly what an away end should be, one big party.

Where did I say it was right??

Get a grip. Fans know flares are going to be concentrated around one particular area. If you are so against it, or it effects your health, or you don’t like rowdiness or standing or a general atmosphere, then there are plenty of other seats out of the way you can watch from

Really fecking grinds my gears when folk piss and moan about away support. You have other options if you are uncomfortable with a certain element. This club is lucky to have such a loyal fan base, 3rd highest number of away fans in the EFL this weekend! SAVOUR IT

You’re picking one incident from nearly a year ago ,it’s a bit desperate to back up your argument . Allocations are not reduced at all due to any incidents you have mentioned that’s why we have had a full sold out away ends pretty much all season . Your post is just untrue.

I generally agree with your posts on here Birky but the Hartlepool game is a classic example of 6 of one and half a dozen of the other in terms of any trouble. Not defending our idiots but it was definitely a two way street and that’s why the police have moved it. I suspect the same is true of the Grimsby game

South Yorks police used to be a law unto themselves in the 70’s!

West Midlands police took their mantle in the late 80s/early 90s. Used to be horrible going to the Hawthorns etc.

Could have been a lucrative trade around VP?

My mate went to see City play away at Everton and was offered a similar deal by some 12 year old lads. When he told them to get lost, one of them threatened to "cut him up" and produced a rather vicious looking knife.
My mate decided to park elsewhere strangely enough.

Since my first away game in the late 60's, Liverpool definitely the most intimidating place outside the stadium, following City

Similar we use to go to an old independent Cinema in Hulme Manchester http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/22901 The first time kids asked us to ‘mind’ our car, I replied okay ‘I will pay you when I come to collect’. They were surprised!! The car was fine when I returned. I think they were taken aback by the logic!
I am sure @Hulmebantam@Hulmebantam may remember the venue!

Far less hassle to pay the 50p. Yes same happened to us at Everton in the cup game, well spent 50p , we won!

Don’t even compare Hartlepool. They are nuts and are always up for it.
