And that’s what boils my bloody “ pizz” , “ One stray pass away from being booed”!,

I’ve said for several weeks it’s much better to play away these days, and your comment reiterates it.

    ( I know you don’t mean yourself)

Well said RT. I watched a game the other day , reminded me of the old days at VP …Losing at home 2-0 and the home fans never stopped singing …. They won 4-3.
Having 15k seasons sold doesn’t make them all supporters. It’s OK to be disappointed, but booing only makes it far worse! Idiots!

It’s borderline cheating. He was off the field of play. Notice also how refs are still allowing the one handed throw ins (with the other waving in the wind)

The manager and players, need to get the fans onside and performances at home have been below where they should be.
I am not a booer, as it is counter productive, but we need to find that magic formula at home. Turn 4 of those 5 draws into wins and you could almost have a playoff place sewn up. We are handily placed those and Saturday is massive.

I've just watched the highlights (on ifollow). What was their #15 doing in the build up for the goal? The ball was coming down to him, and he just stood there. Sun in his eyes? Didn't even bother busting a gut to try and get it back either. Proper League Two stuff that.

I think these next 7 weeks will start catching a fair few teams out if there not able to rotate the squad .............Platt missing yesterday would have affected most teams but it didn’t with ours ..............we are able to chop and change without it affecting us ( away from home that is ) we just have to sort our home form out if we do that ASAP then I think we will easily be in the top 3 ............... Walker still to come back in is just gonna boost us even more

Seems quite a new thing Kev, this booing after a defeat. I wasn't happy with the defeat last Saturday but jeez i'd never boo the team off. Part of our role as supporters is to get behind the side. Lets face it, makes for a far better afternoon if you've had a good sing song with other fans. The players do repond to whatever comes from the terraces, if they're struggling giving them grief ain't gonna make them play any better.

I think he got a call from his defender right behind him to leave it….They both left it!

It just didn’t happen in the old days… They got “spoken to” is the only way I can put it.

Ive seen some utter dross over the years home and away, season after season , but to boo a team in the top half a dozen is mind bogglingly stupid. I’d be more than happy to call them out in the ground.

After missing Sutton United away last season, yesterday's visit enabled me to get back to having seen Bradford City play on the grounds of all of the current 92 Premier and EFL clubs.

I thought Sutton United and Gander Green Lane was a much more positive way to get back to the '92', compared to the first time, which was at Yeovil Town's rather bleak Huish Park ground.

And whilst Gander Green Lane resembles many 'recently non-league' grounds, great efforts have been made to upgrade the facilities, particularly those in the away end, which were excellent. Add to that the welcoming approach taken by the stewards, the warm weather and the result, and it made for a great day out.

Given the after effects of playing with 10 men on Tuesday, plus the suspension / injury impact from that game, it was probably not that surprising that we started slowly but, even in those first 35 minutes, we defended resolutely and were rarely troubled. I've seen one or two reports that suggest we were lucky not to be a goal down, at that stage but, during those first 35 minutes, where were Sutton United's clear cut chances? Then up popped Andy Cook.

After that, City always looked the most likely to get the three points, and when Scott Banks scored it was pretty much game over. My position behind the goal was more or less in line with where Scott let fly from; I have no doubt it was a shot (*** waits for Scott Banks to say it was a cross ***), although, initially, I thought its trajectory was going to take it over the bar.

So, another very good away performance, we now need to up our game at home.

I not sure it is a new thing , i think it has gone back quite a few years. It's not the defeats, it's the manner of them and last Saturday was a prime example of that and i am pretty certain the 6000 city fans there were die hards.
Hughes got it totally wrong, it was a free hit to try something different, a one off game with some good prize money behind it.

It’s treading a very fine line. In the goal is off the field.

Unless you immediately return i.e. run in trying to score and come back out straight away, then rea

I get what you are saying, not playing well is a disappointment for sure, however it’s not in my manner to knock somebody when they are down, because I know it is 100% counter productive.

Valley Parade is regularly like a library though, even when the football isn't as poor as Saturday. We had over 18,000 against Stockport, we had the big banner making an appearance yet 10 minutes before kick off it was flat as a fart. Maybe its just a English thing cos when i go abroad its nothing like that. I'm not expecting atmospheres like we had against Sheffield Utd and Bolton a few years ago but it would be nice to actually experience an atmosphere. We should encourage the players, not wait for them to encourage us.

I was foaming after the Harrogate I don’t mind losing but it’s the manner what I hate and the Harrogate game was uncalled for :( but the reaction after that has been amazing would have been easy to fold away but they didn’t .......... maybe the Harrogate game was the loss the team and management needed to actually fire us up for the bigger challenge of promotion

We have a core 1000 fans that travel all over the country through thick and thin, spending hundreds of pounds over a full season and then we have the 16000 homers paying £6 a game who think they have a right to moan.

Like you Kevin I have seen plenty of dross over the years and the performances in the last few home games have been up there with the worst. I always try to be positive but I must admit to being disillusioned after last Saturday so much so I went to watch Scarborough last Tuesday instead of watching the Mansfield game.
We have a great squad this season capable of winning this league and we are in a decent position thanks to our away form. I still have a fear that our negativity at home may cost us. Everything is in place this year we must do it
