Club Crest (New Crest Revealed 5 October 2022) With Poll

Our old badge is Baba, but I don't like A. Do like B.

 

Hopefully they’ll clear that up in the survey.

 

Yeah but their bird is block colours. Ours has many lines. I’m looking at it, and thinking have they tried to make the bantam look like it’s carrying a shield under its wings? Seems over detailed.

 

Of course, solving ALL problems, would be to make the ball an Adidas Tango

 

Interesting they use a darker background for the existing badge. It's often a sublimal tactic to sway people away from a choice not wanted by marketeers to darken the background or image compared with others

 

I like both the new ones more than the existing one and they're certainly better than the first effort.

I hope the club doesn't shoot itself in the foot for the voting. If it's a choice of A,B, or C then it's quite conceivable that a large majority of supporters vote for a change but we end up retaining the existing badge because the vote for change is equally split. Polling to find which of the new options supporters prefer and also doing a yes/no vote for a change would remove that risk.

 

Looks like they’ve cleaned up the current one so it’s C for me. A is obviously a lost cause but B just looks clumsy and someone stated the ball looks like a tomato and I cannot unsee it now!

 

Like both A and B. B would look better if they made the bantam a bit smaller.

 

I don't like that the Bantam in version B is looking backwards over its shoulder.

Version A is much better than before but I'd rather it were facing the other way.

The existing badge is too fussy, but I like 'The Bantams' underneath.

On balance, I think I now prefer A

 

Perhaps they should have a second round of voting between the 2 most popular options

 

I've voted C, to keep what we have, simply because A and B are quite dreadful.

 

A - Cockerel is trying to stamp the Date with his claw in the ground yelling.
B - Cockerel cant find the ball. Looking the wrong way and also yelling.
C - Cockerel looks happy, relaxed, good colours, "The Bantams"

 

Voted C, no idea what anyone would see in the first two. The text and stripes in the shield looks like something from clip art.

 

B for me.

It's interesting to see how people can become really crestfallen over this issue.

 

Me and my youngest had a quick play around, no graphic design knowledge or aptitude whatsoever and come up with this one.... a bit of a mix between old and new....

 

I voted C. No reason to change a decent club crest for the sake of it in my opinion.
