Me too but the outgoings are going to be large. I can see Cook now moving on for sure?

Jake Young looked promising out wide yesterday, it maybe a case of we see him as a wide man not striker hence bringing Oliver in. I’d be surprised if anyone else comes now tbh.

Maybe we can just move the club to Redcar? I'm sure somewhere in the world there has been a successful relocation of a professional football club.

And centre half. Threlkeld started off as a centre half, then moved to central midfield and then more recently right back.

Looking at that team, its 95% complete at this point

You have a good No.1 (Lewis) With a capable backup (Doyle)

Halliday has spent the last few years in the league above an may take time getting back up to scratch. But we still have Hendrie who is an able deputy an irrespective of his limitations, he always gives 110% when putting on the claret an amber

    CB options look decent.
Platt - No nonsense defender. Young. Promising
Songo - Leader. Reads the game well.
Crichlow - Good at playing out from the back.
    Odusina - Strong, Powerful, Pace

FCD will likely stay on as deputy

Decent competition at LB. Ridehalgh an Foulds

    CM :
Smallwood : The Leader, Captain, First name on the team sheet
Gillead & Sutton : Will cover a lot of ground. Will take care of the dirty work
East : Good on the ball. Deep lying playmaker
    Osadebe : Wildcard

Won’t find a better CAM at this level than Walker

Got pace with the wingers (Chapman & Eisa)

Got an out an out target man now in Oliver. Angol can also play the role. And you have 3 players who can play off them (Harratt, Cook, Young)

Get Dion back to cover that RW, Send Staunton & Wood on loan, Get Kelleher & Threlkeld off the books, An id say thats our summer done

Squad is too big. Expect outgoings very soon then.

Building a squad to challenge to get us up in 2 seasons I see. Not earth shattering signings but a squad that hopefully will be good enough this season or next.

I have a question. What's happened to this 'equipment' linked to one of the sponsors that was going to be part of a big reveal of a signing? Was that BS, did the signing it was linked to not come off, or is there still a big signing to come?

The club is obviously trying to create something that can be maintained. Lots of 2/3 year contracts handed out. If we do well and go up, we'll have the basis of a side that just needs tweaking for (hopefully) back to back successes. But if we struggle, we'll have a squad that has little wriggle room for change next summer.

I actually think we might start slowly, then pick up up.
