    Priority for me is to get someone with an eye for goal who can bang 'em in..I'm ok with Charlie if we can set him up to deliver consistently, also because he can hold up and link pretty well. If he has to go ,I agree 1/2 mill will not get us very far.

    If Coventry can get 1.3m for McNulty then we can definitely get 1m for Wyke.

    We need to add to our frontline and get rid of dead wood like Patrick and Brunker, and give Wyke some genuine support and competition. Not sell him for peanuts and replace him with dross. A 500k fee would get us nowhere.

    Wyke escape criticism but he was as poor as anyone second half of last season no way will anyone pay a million for him

    Given his age I reckon we'd be able to get Eoin Doyle for that price. Wasn't 350k the figure given for him previously? He guarantees you goals at this level and is just as, if not more prolific than Wyke. Edin would have to accept that we probably won't get our money back but if we are serious about promotion next season, he would provide a quick fix and give us a chance.

    Id personally snap there hands off at 500k and i fully expect edin will try to squeeze a tad more but fulky expect him to go.he isnt mobile enough to justify anything higher.

    Love these comments - it's not just the value the person brings to the team but also the contractual situation and the 'need to sell' that drives the valuation. Wyke's contractual situation is very weak hence the lower valuation than McNulty.

    Surely they are taking the piss only offering 500k

    We shall see what any other team gets for there players has no baring on what we get for Charlie, buyers market, if he wont sign another contract I'm sure interested parties will be well aware of that situation, unfortunately.
