    I very much doubt that teams bringing in players from leagues above the national league would be too opposed to backing any shortfalls. I'm sure Wrexham could tweak their tik tok sponsorship in the way Man City do with their sponsorship to artificially inflate income to squeeze under the cap.

    Still that's for future years, and it doesn't explain how we can't compete with the powerhouses of Forest Green, Sutton United, Harrogate Town, etc.
