Please!! The crowd were in raptures from 1-0 to 1-1 last night. So let's not forget that most fans are in the 'a couple of wins and I'm fine' brigade.

So Rupp gets hit in the pocket. That's less money for next season then. Great plan!!

We had this back in the Rahic days. Let's remember, no matter what lots of people wrote on boards like this, it wasn't the protest - it was the report from Rhodes that showed Rupp just what a mess Rahic was making.

Protests never work in getting owners out. Ashley at Newcastle, left when he got exactly what he wanted for the club.

And let's remember the Oystons only finally got out of dodge (sorry Blackpool!!) when they were forced via the high court.

I support you passion, but not the action.

It may work, it may not. But thats only part of the point, isn't it?

There has been interest from willing buyers, and the price Rupp is demanding is a ridiculous one - 10m. He needs to be forced into selling and the only way to achieve that is to make his ownership of the club an financial strain.
So yes, less money for next season might have to be part of the bitter pill that needs to be swallowed. Reduce the budget significantly and make him either prop it up or face his asset eroding to nothing as a consequence of relegation.

As for the fans being in raptures, I couldn't comment as I dont go to VP now. But there looked to be a hell of a lot of empty seats to me. I've seen VP truly in raptures, and not that long ago. I have trouble believing that VP was in anything like raptures at any point last night.

Everyone should donate their matchday spend towards printing an "open letter" in one of the newspapers. A plea in the media that we're not happy, want an interested owner, and would welcome with open arms whoever wants to buy this club off Rupp. This is the sort of action that would reach far and wide, unsettle Rupp and Sparks, and hopefully arouse the interest of potential buyers. We need to do something that will go viral. At the moment, I'm guessing the only way Rupp finds out about supporter unrest, is via Sparks, who I am sure sugar coats all the information he feeds to Rupp.

As if a lower budget could make things any worse than they already are. The club's rotten from top to bottom, the whole lot needs clearing out and we had the opportunity in December to do so but Rupp decided to claim he's the proud custodian rather than fecking off, the fact there are still apologists for him is sickening after what he's done to this club.

If he wants to play the proud custodian, fecking act like it and get an experienced head in to run the show. And if protests hit the budget, well shit I guess he'll have to dip into his pocket for once or he'll miss out on his asking price as we get relegated again.

WAGMI was only one interested party, you can be damn sure there were others, but because we don't know all the names involved let's sack them off and be happy with what we've got eh

Anyone who turns up on Saturday is no better than the scabs during the miners strike.

Message to anyone who's considering going to the next home game:

You're sending a message that you're okay with our current situation.

You need to put your own selfish needs and wants behind for once for the greater good of the club. The season is dead - Stay away. It will gain traction and send such a clear message to all those important stakeholders.

This is absolute rubbish and as a "customer" you are basically saying that you are ok with wasting your money and the product you are getting simply because you don’t think it will work! The BIG problem with our fan base is EMPATHY and you have shown it in abundance.

You do realise that the Oystons were removed because of so much hard work by the fans there!!! They did an incredible job and they their fans actually helped other fans lead revolts against dodgy owners! See Norman Smurthwaite at Port Vale - and now look how Port Vale are being ran after he left! They have a club to be proud of!

Did you not see what happened roughly an hour after the announcement of the European Super league? Chelsea fans blocked the team bus from entering the ground! Man Utd fans stormed Old Trafford and got their game postponed! What happened? The idea folded quicker a game of football!

Its an insult to say we cant take action! This is our club! Stefan Rupp is a custodian and nothing more! If you don’t wish to protest then that is absolutely your choice but don’t say protests don’t work! They 100% do!

It might spook Sparks, but Rupp won't give a shit. He's not interested beyond the extent to whether ors costing him money and the only narrative he'll really get is the one fed to him by Sparks. Hitting him in his pockets and showing the evidence on the balance sheet is the only way to force him into action.

    Utterly nonsensical, clueless post.

Protest is the main source of voice from the fans. There are ENDLESS examples of how fan protests have generated action in football.

Give your head a wobble and don't be a scab.

Have you seen what Blackpool have done after the hard work from the fans to get the Oystons out?? They are now a mid table championship side…… Clueless comment.

    "Raptures"? :joy::joy:

It's like a morgue at the minute and even when we go on front you can sense everyone is just waiting for the inevitable collapse.

The laziest argument is that 'nobody wants to buy us'.

    We're a solvent club.

    We are sustainably run.

We aren't costing Rupp anything according to Sparks.

We don't need a rich sugar daddy, just someone interested.

The ONLY thing that is in the way is Rupp's ridiculous asking price.

Remove that, and we can have our club back.

Spot on. The fact we are actually sustainable makes it easy for Rupp to not give a shit and sit behind his asking price. No doubt he's taking a salary, or Directors bonus, so its nice and tidy for him.

Make it unsustainable, put his asset under real threat of disappearing. Its that serious. Force him to sell.
