Woodgate for me if he is interested.

Let him come in with a forward thinking modern strategy to build something here.

No more dinosaurs please, especially the odious one who hasn't done anything of note for a decade now

No way am I taking Evans and nor would the vast majority of the fans. Back in time I might have backed Evans but not now. We need to go in a direction we havent already taken. We had no idea how Trevor Cherry would manage ? Or Roy McFarland ? Equally Derby County had no idea how Wayne Rooney would turn out but look how they did. Both jobs at Boro & Bournemouth were temporary he surely deserves a chance to show what he can do ? Hes played at the highest level and relatively recently. Worked with some of the top names in the game on and off pitch at some great clubs !. I am sure he is a man we can all get behind ; and trust him to build something and progrees the club given the time.

Well enough to be sacked at Boro, not given the job at Bournemouth and then not get a job all this season??
I’m glad you aren’t in charge of recruitment.

Evans wouldn’t be my first choice but he’s well ahead of where Woodgate would be on my list.

Evans odds appear to be drifting a bit now. 6/1 shot with BV

Robbie Fowler evens favourite with BV now

It must have been a different Jonathan Woodgate who was found guilty of affray outside a nightclub in Leeds where a young asain lad was chased from majestyk and battered. But I guess as long as he's been a top player beating up an Asian lad with your odious little pals outside a nightclub is exactly the right image for the club?

Having just listened to the post match forum on BBC sounds Ryan Sparks could do with spending some time with Felipe Morals. He talks a lot of sense and could help the CEO prepare for managerial interviews.
We heard very little from Julian Rhodes but Ryan's sound bites with no substance are becoming tiresome.

I'd rather have someone who understands 4th division football; preferably someone who has played recently with some experienced help. Agree completely with your comment though.

I asked you before Fowler has been applying for just about every job for years without success. Why?

Fowler was on BT Sport Champions League coverage in mid-week and he couldn't string two sentences together.

Steve Evans now 1/3 at BetVictor, if you put a tenner on you would only get £13.33 back. And people were fantasizing about Grant McCann being the new manager, Evans is exactly the quality of candidate that will apply for the Bradford City job when we are in league two in a precarious situation. Anyway as the old saying goes "Out of the frying pan..."

Putting aside Evans' history with us, he still shouldn't even be under consideration.

Four sackings since 2014 and zero success to go with it. He's a complete dinosaur just like Adams but at least he had the CV with recent achievements to go with it.

Evans is a poor manager, regardless of what you think of him as a man. If Sparks appoints yet another manager from the dark ages after seeing what happened with Bowyer and Adams, then he'll have to pack his bags when it goes wrong yet again.

    It's not zero success.

He's got Gillingham to back to back 10th placed finishes in League 1.
They've finished higher once in the last 15 years.

    Success isn't always promotion.

I don’t think people understand the shit pool we are swimming in… 10th placed league 1 is a million miles away from where we are.

    It's of no surprise.

Why would any manager wanting to progress come to our circus?

Don’t you remember Woodgate and Bowyer chasing an Asian lad through Leeds and beating the shit out of him?
That’s far worse than anything Evans has done.
