Are you seriously using footballer and full time in the same sentence? they do about 3 hours a day.
And as far as having a ‘good job’ it would have to be over 50k a year to match any wages he’d get as a league 2 footballer, which in Darlington I highly doubt.

 

Became a good striker and a blight against us when playing for Millwall. There’s been a few over the years at Halifax that we’ve either missed out on, or, more than likely, we wouldn’t spend the money to take a chance on them.

Lee Gregory, Geoff Horsfall, Jamie Vardy spring to mind and possibly more?

I thought any potential baying mob had been vetted out? Only those who have a rose tinted view of the club (a club they are greatful for even having) and don't mind wiping their hands on their trousers, are allowed to attend.

 

This one seems to have caught people’s imagination it should be remembered he is playing in a league way below even division 2 standard if he does sign it is going to take a while to get up to speed. Might be one for the future as if we are paying money it is a definite gamble

 

If we could offload Gilliead, Evans and Lavery would help but would keep Robinson who is a good backup

If Robinson’s performance against Barrow is anything to go by I’d rather play a ball boy. I have struggled to see a footballer ever to look so disinterested.

There is the off chance he may have been struggling with Covid however.?

 

I'm no fan of AG but of those quoted, he stays. Especially if he goes more central

 

I actually think he’s one of the more hard working players for us, but unfortunately the problem for him is that he is absolutely useless.

 

Gillead general play and work rate are good but unfortunately he has almost zero end product. Great through ball for the first goal last week though

 

I think AG has decent skills and works hard. He just needs to grow a pair when he gets near the box

His career suggests it may not just be a case of growing a pair but maybe, something as simple, as he is not tgat great ability wise.
