We care about results, performances and promotion.

Rupp does give a damn, he cares about not spending any more money and getting as much as possible for the club when he sells it.

He could help himself by being a little more visible than he is though.

The club has averaged a profit over the last ten years when taking losses from profit, Last year I think the club made a profit of around a million pounds yet investment in the club is low as sustainability rather than ambition is the keyword it seems at the club

Because having a DoF and a plan is proven to be more effective than just hiring a manager and hoping he stays forever and ever lol what a nuts opinion

Since Parkinson left we've had no success at all have gone backwards in fact and didn't he take all our scouting documents and information leaving us up the creek yeah that's the ideal hahahaha

You will wait a long, long time for that, he doesn't have any just his usual unfounded self righteous views.

Come on Fordy, be brave, name these people you clearly despise.

The only way Rupp will sell the club is when it costs him money, At the moment it ticks over without his input and gives him a small profit, When the club begins to lose money and he has to make up those losses he will sell, If you want a change of ownership and direction you have to earn it with a boycott of money spent at the club as supporters at other clubs have done to force a change, Distasteful for supporters but probably the only way to save the club long term.

Shot yourself in the foot on the first paragraph there. Worse than Edin ? Come on, Edin ran up massive debts trying to pick the team which Rupp has covered with an interest free loan. That's more than Lawn ever did.

As for the Wilder/ Fury analogy, that's rubbish. Wilder is 36 and took that fight for one reason alone, money for one last big pay date. He knew he had no chance of beating Fury and no chance of beating the winner of Joshua/ Usyk, especially Usyk. In fact, I'd go so far as saying he wouldn't beat Dillian White. Wilder is a busted flush, knows it and just wanted some extra dosh to retire on.

The only thing I will agree with you on is Sparks isn't up to the job of being CEO of a progressive football club, and Rupp should have thought long and hard about that before appointing him, but we all know Sparks talks a good job and will probably have won Rupp over with his badly translated soundbites.

We have the biggest income stream in League two, we shouldn't need Rupp to put in extra money, we should be able to get out of this division with what we have. After that it's debateable, but Rupp funding the club (and potentially breaking the 55% salary cap) shouldn't be an option required at this level.

What is debateable is can Adams get a club promoted with a decent budget when he always done it on a piss poor one and players fighting above their level in the past.

It made a big loss in 2019 which Rupp covered. He's into this club for £7million and could easily have cut his losses back then, leaving us to Edin and knowing he would be out of the firing line back in Germany. Give the man some credit.

He's got himself into a situation he didn't want and would be mad to throw more money at it. He doesn't want to own a football club and we have no divine right to expect him to put more in.

What we need is a manager (which hopefully we have now) who can get us out of this league, make us more sellable and someone to come along who does want to own a club. That's why Adams is right to take complete control, shimmy Sparks off into the world of just writing cheques and continue to back his (Adams) own ability to see the job through.

If that's next season, then so be it. We really don't want to be a Bolton who will rumble from one financial crisis to another.

I think Wilder thought he could win. And he nearly did. Just an opinion but he was not far off from doing it.

Plymouth are a big club and he’s handled the pressure of 10,000+ crowds there. There’s no doubting the man’s credentials as he’s won promotions at Morecambe and Ross County too on smaller budgets.

For what its worth we are due a good run and if we get a man that can put them in off his bum/knee /ankle we will go on one. We are not that short of being a good team that can compete. As for the background stuff we are very shoddy to say the least. Mark Lawn never used to go missing when we did not do very well...always had an opinion or a point no matter how daft it could be....our background management lot are silent...... tumbleweeds

He said he had just come off the phone with you. Did you tell him about your imaginary hit list of hanger ons at the club that you want rid of?

Two points we finally agree on, though Boris lied very convincingly to make us believe he cared. No HS3 but North - South Crossrail is still going ahead and they are going to spend Millions rebuilding the Euston Arch (demolished in 1962) as the gateway to HS2.

As for Boreya. Not sure anyone "really" believed he was a good football manager, anymore than anyone really believs in Elfs (aka Christmas Midgets)

I'd argue Plymouth are just as big as us and he did alright there. I don't want us as fans to hang on this smaller budget scenario though as generally Morecambe are very much the exception to the rule. I'd be a lot happier if Adams had a bigger budget.

He gets zero credit from me. Whatever money he put into the club to cover debts he was accountable for creating in the first place, were reasonably covered by the prospect of the McBurnie money and in any event, were likely motivated as much (if not more) by avoiding the need to write off his asset. He might not know football, but he's a businessman.

Probably best summed up by Mr Sparks
“I liken Bradford City to an oil tanker,” he adds. “The biggest size, too. There are a number of clubs in Leagues One and Two — and even the Championship, really — that are speedboats in comparison. That means they can change course quickly, whereas we take some turning.

“We are on with that now but it is nowhere near done yet. What I do believe, though, is that once this oil tanker is up to speed at about 25 knots and moving in the right direction, it will take some stopping.”
