Absolutely gutting to lose the goal at the end but we got away with a stonewall pen when Foulds virtually caught the ball and then slapped it away from their number 7. Right in front of us and it was a definite pen.
Thought their handball in the first half was a 50/50 due to the speed it was hit at him.

For the first 70 mins there was only 1 team winning that game and for the last 20 mins there was only one team winning that game.

When we went ahead we were actually 5th in the live league table on BBC

DA should have thought about freshening things up around 80 mins to give the defence some protection as it was all one way traffic at that point. Even bring Canavan on to provide extra cover? Go 5 4 1 to protect the points they were battering us anyway so take Vernham off and bring Canavan on.

Cooke , Cook and Vernham were out on their feet in the last 10 mins.

First half they looked the poorest team I have seen for a while and in the second we made them look like Barcelona.

Ridalgh injured, Watt looked like he had pulled his hamstring. Foulds seemed to be limping towards the end and Songo' look really crocked just after that goal was disallowed. Christ if they are injured for Tuesday we are now down to the bare bones and its (gulp) Hartlepool next.

Another big week coming up to see if DA has any faith at all in his "fringe" players. Like others have said earlier he seems a stubborn *@?$. Dunno if that trait is helping or hindering us right now.

Very little to say about Eisa apart from his injury is the same recurring injury and he does not know how long he'll be out, he didn't sound a happy manager, no mention of Angol.

So those like @Bronco@Bronco and @Bigrod@Bigrod who thought last weeks away point was a good one because we had two home matches.

Well it’s two points from 6.

We’re not good enough to start thinking a draw is a good result for us.

As a team we lack quality.

Fair play to the boys, really good first half - but no argument we had to put them out of sight and didn't.

We haven't half signed some crocks, and this leads me to another load of bollocks that is continually spouted - we are getting players back. What this fails to cover is that we ARE going to lose other players, as happened today.

The medical side of our recruitment and subsequent player fitness has yet again been a bodge job, despite the assurances RS gave. You are always going to get injuries but we have to be better than this if we are going to achieve any of our goals.

Any chance DAs new scouting team coming up with something, January seems a long way off to

I understand what you're saying but that's the same thing we've been thinking for the last 3 years.

Problem is we haven't started the season with the right recruitment in recent years and who wants to sell us a striker who is scoring goals in January? No one!

    It wasn’t though.

Bradford City can’t handle the pressure. We played ok today but we was always drawing that match.

    The recruitment is killing us.

Songo wasn't tight enough to his man Dave probably knackered as well
Poor goal to concede but superb finish from an experienced pro

It’s killed is since the playoff final. Sadly we won’t get promoted until we get it right we are very mid table, can’t see January been the difference but would love to be proved wrong.

He always goes on the defensive and provides guarded responses to enquiries about injured players. The other week I heard him state he was meeting resistance from some staff and players regarding his methods. A number of those players looked burnt out in the second half today. Eisa on the bench last week and now crocked again. I haven't been to Rawdon Meadows this season because of those roadworks at Greengates. He's obsessed with training, but, is it too intense? Does anyone have first hand info? He's even got them back in again tomorrow. He's intent on doing it his way, but is it the right way?!

The first half was really good football from us in everything except the vital part finishing thought it was a mistake bringing scales on and not Canavan but hands up to Pitman scored a brilliant goal which he has done throughout his career gutting but a good exciting match

Just can't kill teams off when on the front foot.
It's getting very frustrating and repetitive the last 20 minutes or so we ran out of steam and ideas.
Mid table mediocrity is a strong possibility if this continues.
Derek Adams says we lack a cutting edge don't we know it Derek we should have been comfortably out of reach at halftime.
Sitting back and trying to hold on seldom works especially with the players we have at our disposal they simply don't have enough nounce

Cant disagree with that but as manager he's the one who's jobs on the line, not that I think there is any panic as yet and although @Bantamsteve@Bantamsteve might not like it his training methods seem to have worked at his previous clubs (sorry Steve), even Ryan mentioned it on a pod cast with the Posh owner saying we wont see an immediate improvement but it will become obvious in the latter stages of the season.

1 win in 8. 2 EFL cup defeats too.

    7 points from 24.

Before reading on folks, take a step back and reread those stats.

Bar the Stevenage game, we have failed to truly dominate from start to finish. Good in patches against Oldham, Bristol, Rochdale (Mansfield I believe) but distinctly average at best against Newport, Barrow, Walsall and poor against Orient and Salford and Fecking appalling at Crawley.

Do we have potential. In parts.

But the sum of the parts means as this team stands, we will fall short of the only goal of the season, promotion. We may strengthen but be honest, the last window casts real question marks of those whom run the club on a day to day basis.

I'm just trying to get out and about on away days, have a laff, a few beers and a crack with mates.

I don't have any firm belief on how the season will pan out as we've been here before and under Rupp, we continue to regress and fail. The decision makers at the club, talk the talk but I just don't have faith in them and BRADFORD CITY as a club to deliver.

Agree even Adams took a bit of a swipe at Pitman having little threat on the ground but as you say doing something he has been renowned for during his career.

Wasn't a great performance. A team is not just judged by a result.
