Little bit fed up of hearing it some one was calling Vernham shouting at him how shit he is was then he scores and he's brilliant again. Adams is a proven manager just give him a break and Sparks well he's been OK so far. As for Rupp all the guy has done is provide the finance and literally nothing else so I don't see how anyone (unless you have the cash to get him out) can call for his head he's not English he doesn't live here hey ho

    Sorry! How am I annoying?

    Lets deal in facts:

I said the squad lacks quality
I said Gillead was an awful signing.
I said Adams needs to understand Bradford City isn't Morecambe
I said Sparks is a novice CEO
I said Rupp is a shite owner
I said we will draw more games we should win because we lack quality.
I said we can't count just on Cook and Cooke.
I said we train at a school
I said we don't own our stadium
I said we don't know the value of these so called sponsorship deals.

It's clear you can't handle the truth!

To be fair, it could be a case of ‘Dissociative amnesia’, which was formerly called psychogenic amnesia. It occurs when a person blocks out certain information, often associated with a stressful or traumatic event, leaving the person unable to remember important personal information.
So let’s be a little understanding.
They could have stood on someone (very very small) who is close to them…..at some point.

Whilst not supporting the ridiculous Adams out view, I do though wonder whether managing a club with such high expectations, especially from a large fan base, as opposed to Morecambe, with the complete expectations and fan base, is proving harder than he thought?

I was expecting a side with a tougher backbone than we are showing at the moment.

It was very worrying how Barrow cut through our midfield at ease yesterday with players carrying the ball unchallenged frequently. The side is crying out for Songo'o and Sutton, are they both not match fit, or is Adams just being stubborn?

I don't think he will change his preferred formation.

I do think we are playing with two passengers in the side at the moment in Gillead and Evans, and it's time he shook them up.

Too much is expected of Adams. He clearly has not got the bottle for a challenge, as proven with his departure from Morecambe, wanting to ply his trade back at league 2.

Far too many fans got overly giddy on his appointment. Talk of walking the league and all that.

But from my perspective, his initial time at City (which is all I will judge him by) is frustrating with a squad assembled that is average, full of lower league 2 standard players with sod all goals in them and tactics /team selection that has become highly questionable in recent games.

But he retains my confidence purely because he still is the biggest asset, we have in that squad. Its shape needs changing, the reintroduction of Angol and Eisa, will offer further options (but will not be the magic dust, some hope for) but if we are to push for promotion, Adams has to be given time and not pushed out the door.

The real problem lies at the top of this club in Rupp. Until he goes, it will be much of a muchness at Bradford City.

Talk (well maybe not under Rhodes) but little action which is palpable to us Bradford City fans.

You were doing well there Fordy until you got to the last bit when you broke into Jack Nicholson's courtroom rant in a Few Good Men.

I absolutely agree about expectations regarding the club and Adams being far higher here than at his previous employer. The CEO, in my opinion, has also played a big part in increasing supporters belief about where the club will finish this season.

Practically everything coming out of the club pre-season was centred on this year being a concerted promotion push. From the shirts harking back to a former promotion winning side, to the comments about the club 'not working in this division'. I completely understand that Sparks' former job was in marketing and in order to sell tickets you need to enthuse the fan base. The problem arises when the assembled squad can't live up to those ambitions and you risk deflating a large percentage of supporters who thought this year would be the year.

It's probably preferential to under promise and over deliver, than the opposite. But, talking about consolidation and promotion being a multi season project doesn't ultimately sell season tickets. People could delay buying a seat until the following season when the project hopefully bears fruit. Unfortunately, should this season not pan out as hoped by those running the club, supporters are likely to take next pre season's marketing assault with a much larger pinch of salt. I fully understand why sparks was so bullish, but I think he's shown a little bit of inexperience by talking up this season when the assembled squad doesn't look like it's up to the job.

At the risk of coming over as a Happy Clapper I am not too despondent at the moment. Yes I'm disappointed that we didn't take our chances in the last two home games and we lost a game at Salford we would have won if we had taken our chances. Also apart from his goal assist yesterday Evans didn't offer enough. On top of that Andy Cook needs two things, a partner up front to free him up more plus the ball to his feet, preferably in front of him. A fit partner up front for Cook and Evans replaced by a match fit Songo'o or Sutton and we won't be far off. Although Adams probably feels he is lacking a couple of players we are at least creating plenty of chances, the situation would be more worrying if those chances weren't being created.
I think Adams will be looking to keep us in touch in the run up to January when he will look to tinker with the squad.

Adams deserves time to see what happens in the January transfer window

I think some people are forgetting how shite we was last season with maybe a couple of shots on goal and pissing round passing round the back 4 , At least we are competing now

We have a fragile squad , lets see what we are like when everyone is back

Different situation really. Like now it was early days but this season we are at least creating plenty of goal scoring opportunities and in Adams we have a manager under which we will improve. And despite what he says in public he won't be happy with certain parts of our game, not just the missed chances. Like the saying goes, it's not how you start its how you finish.

I can’t back any talk of any manager out this early.

what I would say is I feel it’s gonna be similar to Parkys promotion bid from this league. I can’t see us hammering many sides but we won’t lose many games and will generally be hard to beat. I think we will float in and around the play offs and can hopefully have a good strong end to season and push on.
However you do have to wonder how Kenny Jacket has had such an immediate impact, forest green manager same, yet we seem to be going backwards rather than forwards?

As for Sparks he’s very up and down and very much impulsive in his decision making. A polar opposite to Rhodes who would sit and wait and wait and never seemed to make the call. You need a mix of both though. He can’t continue to hire and fire at a club of our standing. We are not able to Chuck endless pots of money at it and that’s clearly so we need a lot more consistency at the decision making level.
It baffles me we were going to have a blend of youth players to fill gaps that the new recruitment director couldn’t fill, to all that being ripped up within 3 months of a new manager coming in?
We have no interview process for any job it seems and it’s a quick appointment but how much care goes into it?
It only ever works for so long that way and you have no foundation to keep pressing the club onwards and upwards. Now if Adams turns round after January and says I’m still not being backed and he walks, what then?
He must be bolder in what he believes in otherwise it will never work
