I wouldn’t no and I didn’t agree with us doing it either but to suggest that Salford can live without income from fans is naive no matter who their owners are.
The justification FOR doing it though is to prevent away fans entering home areas and avoiding potential crowd trouble.

1,200 season ticket holders, to be fair, so no we couldn't. We've looked at doing this in the past, but given the layout of the ground it's not feasible.

Salford are 51% owned by one if Singapore's richest men. They could and would survive without any fans if it bought progression up the leagues.

They don't exist for the fans, they are a vanity project.

The only place they should exist is Disneyland, a suitable location for a Mickey Mouse club.

Always thought FA Cup rules were 15%, that explains MR for Reading and Sunderland. Not sure of League Cup, think it’s 10% - maybe we just decided to extend FA rules?!

That's right. For the FA cup, the FA stipulates a minimum of 15% of capacity for away supporters. The EFL uses a lower figure - a minimum of 2,000 or 10% of capacity if lower - for both its league and League Cup matches.

Clubs can of course choose to allow more oppo fans in so long as it's more than the minimum specified and there is still proper segregation.

    And subject to the SAG
Wasn't there a row between Arsenal & Utd where Utd were allocated 5,000, but Lincoln 9,000 at the Emirates?

You might recall that in 2000/2001 we gave the North-West Corner to Manchester United and Sunderland in the Premier League. Virtually zero segregation, the NW corner is higher than the Main Stand, it was a very unpleasant experience and ultimately lead to us moving our seats.
So a lot depends on the segregation aspect.

think that was more due to segregation issues once we had given the amount we needed to the away team.

Don’t you have to give 15% up for cup games, I imagine that’s why it is.
