My tickets arrived this morning and they have "Pre-Season Friendly" printed on them so I would be bolder than you Rod and suggest that with that attitude from the home side we should be going for the win

 

Orient currently trailing. What are Harrogate on, apart from anti-covid meds?

I know this gets spouted a lot and I don’t like saying it, but the league this year looks very weak. It looks more non league than the national league, I hope we go up this season because if Wrexham and Stockport both come up I’d expect them to be immediately challenging for promotion again.

That Zanzala knocked one of the stadium lights down as well, I thought they might put up a fight when I saw the Villa team. The lower leagues get worse year on year I swear they do.

 

Now 5 nil with some of the worst goalkeeping and defending I’ve ever seen. Prem clubs will never ever send their young talents on loan to our league and I don’t blame them. We need to get out of this league ASAP !

 

This time I think I have to agree with you Fordy. With Angol injured and Lavery probably not match fit yet we certainly need some backup for Andy Cook and probably another central midfielder to give us some strength in depth but we should be beating the likes of Orient.
I think Mansfield will be up there at the end of the season but we turned them over at their place . With the teams we will have played by then I think after the Salford away game we should have an idea of where we are.
Andy Cook looks much fitter as does Charlie Vernan which makes him a bigger threat for us. Gillead looks a better player now and Songo'o was okay but will get better with games under his belt. And although I thought he would have gone by now I noticed that one of the first players Adams went to congratulate at the end of the game was Gareth Evans. Under Adams everyone will have a part to play.

Good thinking. Although I may have a beer before the game as I get into Kings Cross at 09:31 I am more bothered about getting something to eat.
I get back into Shipley at 22:04 so will have time for a couple of beers when we return.

 

Difficult to believe there's any truth in that. Why on earth would they transfer list a player that has only just arrived when they are already short on numbers? Orient got rid of 13 players over the summer and have only brought in 8, are they really going to offload another with only a week of the transfer window left? Wood has never struck me as the sort of player that would cause disharmony in the dressing room either so it all seems very unbelievable.

 

I don’t know, but there has been rumours of a Wood Jackett fall out all week so we’ll see. Sometimes people just don’t get along.

 

I'm not to sure about wood not been disruptive , wasn't there a game last season when he was put down as a sub but the line up was change after some argument over him not missing a game all season.

 

I see Orient lost last night against Harrogate. Reading the match report they offered very little going forward, and also conceded 2. We should beat these comfortably.

 

Cool story bro except it was a senior team with only three teenagers and only one player from their U23 squad 8 players were 24 or over and plenty of game time between them
