Away Priority Cards

would you suggest to make it fair everyone has to queue at VP?

This Points Loyalty Scheme as it stands, says...

Loyalty points will be awarded to each supporter - over the course of the 2021/22 season and beyond - on the following basis:

- Purchasing a season ticket: 150 loyalty points

- Purchasing an Away Priority membership: 50 loyalty points

- Purchasing a 1903 Club membership: 40 loyalty points

- Attending a home fixture: 20 loyalty points

- Attending an away fixture: 10 loyalty points

So buying a season ticket gets you 150 points, then when you attend a home game using that season ticket you get 20 more points, or is the 20 points for those buying a ticket to a home game, or is this for cup games above the season ticket?

In theory for season ticket holders do we have as of today? 150 + 20 for attending the first game, were those on holiday only on 150 points? How does it work, because if it is for loyalty points I'll get the gateman to scan my daughters card on a night game during school term time when she doesn't attend to pick up the loyalty points, after all I have paid for the game regardless if she attends, and she only doesn't attend because I don't think it's right to go to a game, get home at 10pm then send her to school the next day. Tonight is different as there is no school tomorrow.

My point is in relation to some querying how we go on at the likes of Harrogate where it looks like priority numbers will exceed supply. If I had bought a priority ticket I would expect that gives me exactly the first dibs on tickets as any other priority ticket holder. This idea that early purchasers somehow get priority over other priority holders defeats the whole object of buying one. To make it fair the priority numbers should have been set at the lowest away allocation number, making sure every priority holder is guaranteed an away ticket to every game if they require one.

 

Cheers. On that basis it appears attending the game on Saturday made no difference to my "loyalty" as only the 150 for my season ticket show up.

So someone attending 8 games by buying tickets this season will earn more loyalty points than a season ticket holder attending all 23 games. Hmmmmm

 

I get where you were coming from but the current position is we have sold more priority tickets than some grounds so there will have to be some way to differentiate. My position is, based on what the club announced, that I think they will use the points system as well as the cards.

Not sure what everyone is worried about. Mansfield tickets are on general sale. We got 1,600 of them and they are on general sale because we haven't shifted them.

 

And I'm saying if we can't sell out 1,600 tickets for a game down the road we need not be too worried about these other fixtures.

Anyhow these clubs will want to cash in, they will accommodate the away support by moving fans and putting them in the home end.

 

If we as a relatively big club kick people out of the Midland Road stand to cash in on away support, I have no doubt that smaller clubs will make similar decisions.

 

when was the last time we moved season ticket holders from their seats for a league match?
