    Yes, 7 of them. Went home she’ll shocked. Let’s be clear they hadn’t conceded a goal in open play and their form since January has been almost auto promotion. They came with high hopes but to be fair were praising of us.

    I don’t care if they were unbeaten for 2 seasons!

    It’s bloody Stevenage and we should be beating them both home & away if this club has any ambitions to go up.

    Same with Oldham- shite!

    Our true test this season so far is on Saturday.

    I hope it was only cramp, but he did seem to be holding the top of his leg. Either way, it was a good move to get him off quickly.

    I suppose after we have beaten Mansfield on Saturday, our true test will be Orient in your eyes, and so on until we lose.

    Stevenage had kept something like 9 clean sheets out of 10 on their travels before last night, but their defence simply couldn't cope with us last night

    Yes I did read your original comment on last night. It came as a very pleasant surprise to me for once. But you've slept since then giving you plenty of time to do yet another flip-flop and revert to your usuall stance on most things City related. ;)

    Felt like some (fortunately not the mgr)were getting the excuses in early. They turned out to be standard L2 shite despite all the flapping ‘no divine right’ ‘promotion form’ (including last season in that - bizarre) yadda yadda.

    i guess we have ourselves been L2 rubbish for a while but you could tell something is building here and the mentality has changed, and we do have some quality as evidenced.

    VP should be a fortress if we want to go up and teams should be worried coming here. Ask yourself ultimately where Stevenage will end up this season, i doubt very much it will be promoted.

    Cooke will flourish and alas he will be sold.... but he is playing so well.. I thought Songo had a Neville Southall 'Johny fat shorts moment.' He looked to be huge but to be fair solid
