Well an educated guess would lead to the assumption of the majority. They will be signing for peanuts with the promise of being coached and taken to the next level by.....a 32 year old unproven coach at senior level.

I don’t mind us signing young inexperienced, hungry outfield players. But if we bring in an inexperienced keeper, then we’re in trouble.
That’s the one position that calls for experience, as we found out to our peril last season. Could turn out to be the most important signing we make imo.

Zero to very few first team games means "unproven quality".

200 first team games in senior professional leagues would suggest "proven quality".

Except goalkeeper as city offered reduced wages for Doyle so they are hardly going to increase the wage to sign someone else to play as that would defeat edin's purpose.

 

But another player without first team experience - we have only to hope we have some experienced offensive/ attacking players lined up to supplement the younger ones with none. I

My point was very simple. I will want to see these lads playing first before deciding how things are going. I recall Abbo and Hendrie and Singleton joining from Coventry with very few senior games under their belt. 2 of them went on to have great careers with city and Singleton was a very useful addition to the team that year.

 

I was wondering what the definition was myself. Try asking @Norman Corner he is fully on board with it all.

 

I can't see city playing both wing backs and 2 wingers so that is plenty of squad depth for wingers or they will go with a flat back four which can leave Riley and Wood exposed at times as they will be inexperienced at this level.
