Chesterfield wanted a replacement first. Denis was our target, so we waited. Its how football works. How many times you watch deadline day and see premierleague moves fall through in the last minutes.

All i see is people already decided the club is finished because of this appointment. Thats not backing him.

 

They offered a fair price for Dennis one that chesterfield were happy with and accepted. January is a very difficult transfer window nobody wants to part with players lots of deals go down on the last day.

 

...and did it galvanize a team in a play off spot to stay there or did we slide down the table with their recruitment ' along with Grayson who we were told had promotion/ championship managing/ coaching credentials?

 

You wait 7 weeks for a manager then 3 turn up all at once! (4 counting Mr "Everybody's wrong but me")

 

Keep it to yourself but I believe @Norman Corner is on a wind up.

 

I'm feeling emotionally bereft!
Hours in weeks I've spent in hope that some of the negative drivel would be proven wrong with a positive recruitment of a head coach.
ABSOLUTELY underwhelmed
However, I'm first and foremost a Bradford City fan therfore I wish the new coaching team ALL THE VERY BEST :thumbsup:

 

Who knows.. but we also had bids accepted.. not going to bother getting into all that again.. I'm just saying they did not refuse to spend money in January and we brought 5 players in which will have cost money..

 

Take Greg out of the trio and who are these experienced coaches your talking about, and at what level have they coached players ?.

 

Again blame them for a lot of things but this isn't the case.. They had a bid accepted on the last day however they were making bids through out the window, chesterfield were holding out for £100k more than we were offering until the last day..

Now whether we should have waited is a different argument, but they did not wait till the last day to try get the deal done.. it just happened the bid was accepted on the last day.

 

funny how Rahic says "Michael has his (UEFA) A coaching licence"....I'm glad he does as that is a requirement to be a head coach at a non top-tier football club.

 

But they're not managers. Edin wanted a Gym teacher, sorry Head Coach!!

 

Yep I know, and then booted McCall through the door before he had time to turn it around. Old argument and don’t want to start that again. Plus my main contention about recruitment is that they were so busy trying to push Stuart through the door in the summer they did not recruit properly, or that was probably a tactic to get rid.

 

Like all fans I am completely underwhelmed by this appointment but will get behind the team and hope for the best. I am however concerned as to how a coach who, as far as I am aware, achieved little of note as a player or a coach, will be able to command the respect of the players, especially the senior ones.

 

Collins a strong candidate since the weekend.

It's patently clear that no fecker wanted the job.

Granted its possible that Edin is some kind of misunderstood genius and that we will all look very foolish next May. But as I sit, strapped into the passenger seat of his car, as he occasionally veers into on coming traffic and knocks over the odd traffic cone, I cant help but doubt his claims that he knows how to drive and that I should trust him.

 

Well none of them look happy, they look like I feel today. Doesn’t exactly fill you with optimism does it!

Greg looked royally fecked off. Maybe he's still not 100% but he doesn't look best pleased

 

He was the only one said yes to Edin, yes he would allow him to pick the team, in fact he needs him to pick the team he has very little experience. He was the only one who would let him bring all his players in etc etc. I am so p’d off today.
