You should be supportive, we don't know how this individual will fare.

Give him time, give him a chance, it might seem unlikely for a young groundsman to succeed as first team coach but the club have faith and so should you!!!

Honestly, the club get enough credit from me that 2 is the impossible/extremely unlikely scenario.

I just don't think we'd be stupid enough to make the noises that we have if that was a legitimate possibility.

We know now for sure we weren't in for Wellens, which is disappointing, but Sparks/the club have been pretty clear we've made our choice and that must be a mutual thing, or why make those type of statements?

3 and 4 are definitely possible, by the way. It LOOKS like Adams based on the incomplete data that we've got, but that doesn't guarantee that he's the man we're looking to unveil 'in due course'. Could be anyone who isn't contractually eligible to be appointed yet.

 

And we unveil our groundsman activities!! Just sowing the seeds I guess

Already mentioned Accrington doing well on my previous reply,it’s possible on low crowds but probably not sustainable. I take it you don’t think there is potential at City. The fact we raked in nearly half a million on i follow passes as well as sell 9500 season tickets with little prospect of seeing them live to me gives us potential. I believe that Sparks will get the club moving in the right direction this summer. Get it right on the pitch and we could get back to 15/16 thousand crowds again. That is why Adams will quit Morecambe to join us in the next couple of weeks.

Good point. The sales on ifollow show our "potential". Not many clubs in this league who have the potential of 10,000 season ticket holders with no chance of attending AND raking in half a million on ifollow. Even if all Accrington's fans are season ticket holders, they would have to charge £250 to even raise the £500,000.

 

If that's true, to increase ticket prices and decrease the budget is very poor from city. I would like a source as I have been unable to find that.

If we are doing it all on the cheap why not keep T&S? or appoint someone on the cheap already? why wait until the play offs to poach Adams? maybe instead focus on getting a quality manager and get players on the cheap but a lot of this doesn't make sense. I would have believed the pair of you if the appointment was cheap.

He has been told of our plan and it interests him, we currently are sustainable (pandemic aside) it was when our budget was double what it currently is now, plus with the release of a lot of high earners we have a lot of leeway now. I think for once people shouldn't be as pessimistic as we currently are.
